Pinnacled (My tweaked version of Pinncale)

    I was watching some good old youtube vids of people showing hiding spots and jumps on the Pinnacle map a few days ago. Taking inspiration i decided to load up the Pinnacle map in forge and play around with some of these hiding spots and jumps. Realising how bad i suck at this i then started messing about with the feel and flow of the map. I soon remembered playing the Uncaged variant of the Cage map and thought why the hell cant i do something like that? Besides Pinnacle is a good map but there is also some very common habits to the map in games.

    So with a few tweaks i tried to edit out the issue's i had experienced in games. Things like people jumping on braces and getting swift head shots on people spawning in Swat. How people will often prefer to take the route from one tower to the other by the receiver node instead of the far end. Looking at the map in general i felt i could add something more to it and hopefully encourage more traffic the the far end.

    [​IMG]Added window to minimize spawn killing from tower three and DMR platform. Tweaked rocks around the platform.

    Added brace and added ramp to bridge heading to tower three.

    Joining of ramp to bridge. Access up requires a small jump to railing.

    Added man cannon below bridge sends players to dish.

    Platform three, no major cover but allows for good equal height of map as the other towers. Whilst cover is minimal there should be a sufficient amount to protect from other two towers.

    Moved brace to prevent camping on top, this now allows clear sight both up and down the ramp. Added a more pleasing back drop to the platform also.

    Added ledge to back of tower, now allows for additional cover or entry when attacking people inside.

    Added rock for experienced jumpers to get alternate access to dish. Also moved the rock arch out more to remove hiding ledge.

    Weapon changes;
    Moved one sniper to bridge heading for new tower.
    Added two additional plasma's on new tower.

    Uploaded a video of changes with asthetics. Tweaked the joining section from red tower to bridge to allow for platform. Also moved hill five in KOTH to this platform.

    Very nice it's not the greatest when it comes to aesthetics, but neither was the first one any ways defiantly adds a more interesting play to the map! Good job! :D

    Just as The Cage became Uncaged, Pinnacle becomes Pinnacled : P I definitely think you are on the right track for this. Like hollow123 said, you might want to take the remaining budget and add some aesthetics which pinnacle is in desperate need of. Besides that I think your tweaks are well thought out and helpful for game play.

    Might I suggest adding a video of the tweaks in action so that people can immediately understand the changes?

    Thanks for the feedback, I spent a while last night going over a few changes to the asthetics. I didn't want to change too much to make it feel nothing like pinnacle. So I just added a few visual improvements here and there. I also made a fly through video which I'll hopefully post later.
