The Flood Hello fellow Halo players! This is a map i made based on the level "343 Guilty Spark" where you first incounter the Flood. When I played Halo CE and then Reach i thought that there would be a map and gametype out there somewhere that involved the flood. There wasnt =( So i made this! The map has 4 rooms. Humans job is to get to the 4th room. Floods job is easy. Kill the humans. Each door opens after 50 seconds from each other. Last door opens around 30 seconds left. Flood have a sword and a assualt rifle, but they do 50% damage. Humans have a assualt rifle and a pistol. There are some weapons on the map but not meny. This is the inital camera The room is a copy of the first room you meet the flood in. There are soft kill zones on the top ledge to stop poeple from camping in the first room all game. The second room WARNING: You may get stuck when you first enter the room. I've done the best i can but it still happens! This is the third room There is a teleporter on the bottom floor that leads to the second room. This helps the Flood get to the humans when they spawn in the third room. I kinda see what it is. The flood from Halo 2 is a great Idea. Nobody has really put a Idea on that. But one thing I would LOVE if Bungie designed a way to put Brutes, Grunts, and any other cov or UNSC A.I's into it that would be sick, especially in this game. But the infected really take over the flood: You kill someone they are one of them. Easy enough.
Wait a second. I've seen this map before on here. Did you double post, or is your map awesome in the same exact way the other one was?
If your asking if posted twice i did and didnt. the first one i posted was a beta. i was just trying 2 get testers from forgehub. But this one is much more improved.
very nice idea! this is 343 Guilty Spark, I totally can see it. I am a big fan of the older Halos. Aesthetically, it can together very nicely. The gametype looks fitting for the map, as well. Good job!
Looks great. And I love this level in campaign. Not exact but its really interesting to see how you tried to represent things that were in the old halo. Flawless except for the fact that you probably need to have some kind of scenery (sandbags, crates, portable shields, etc.)
Dang it! I was just about to post my version of this here o forgehub me and The Psycho Duck made awhile back. How did we get beat to it? Well yours has more in it anyway We had a very detailed one room with the side rooms.
