Collateral City, where everyone is a colateral report.

    Created by Masta Hippie

Thousands of years have passed since the days when the almighty Funkzilla ruled the land. Funkzilla has long become bored and moved to New Zealand to party with his hippie friends leaving his son Baby Funkzilla in charge. During the average Penultimate Battle, Baby Funkzilla was victorious in defending his father’s land from pigs, pirates, aliens, snails, turtles and annoying racers. While taking a small 700 year doze, some adventurous forgers built a beautiful city around the slumbering mini giant. This thriving metropolis became the beacon of peace for the entire world. At least it was peaceful until the McDoonaldos franchise opened a store. The smell of greasy teenagers cooking cheeseburgers was enough to awaken Baby Funkzilla from his nap. Naturally he got a bit confused and accidentally destroyed the entire city.

Also the always almighty Funkzilla sent his best friend King Bong over to help. King Bong has his own plans of creating a cannabis patch on the soil that is now rich with human blood.

Meanwhile HT Hardcore, a league of underground street racers, decided to take this once in a life time opportunity to have a street race through the crumbling city.

    Welcome to Collateral City.

    English translation:

This is a race track that takes place in a destroyed city. Instead of lots of intersections like classic city tracks, there is only one path through the debris with a few shortcuts through buildings and over monorails. The destroyed city aesthetics are absolutely amazing and use every object available (except all those damn expensive decorations). A giant monster and monkey made to abstractly represent Godzilla and King Kong (the two most famous city destroyers) tower above the city as they lay siege to it.

The track is intentionally designed to drive roughly. This is a ruined city after all and the roads aren’t going to be in perfect condition. You have to avoid collapsed buildings, dodge the monster’s kill ball breathe, jump gaps where the city has collapsed into the ocean and you can even drive along a precarious monorail if you’re up for it. If you want a smooth track go somewhere else because I aim to offer a unique experience.

Collateral City, the city where everyone is just a collateral report.

Baby Funkzilla on a rampage. Luckily he’s only half the size of his father due to his mother being a platypus. Big Funkzilla would have destroyed my house too.

Beware of Baby Funkzilla’s morning breath.

King Bong and his king sized cigar. He knows what the hippies like.

Living behind a monster with bad digestion is not always a good thing.

Rumor has it this was the street where Scuba Steve invented the first toilet.

Ionized was born here even though he doesn’t know it. Some people think the council just made it up to gain publicity.

McDoonaldos, who knew their delicious fries would be the cause of so much chaos. We should have paid more attention to the health freaks.

    Not exactly 5 star accommodation.

The waterfront is now a waterdump.

The slums, ironically the only part of the city that wasn’t destroyed. They always looked like that.

Beware, it takes you within chewing distance of Baby Funkzilla.

There’s a good reason why you couldn’t have taken the train. Such as their expensive tickets.

Wow. What an awesome idea. Personally I like the second description better but the first description is creative. I'm also glad that you made sure that forgehub understands this is a rough map. Okay, most of your collaspes look genuine. Also the two monsters, Monorail and King Bong, they look hilarious and well forged. Good job with the map.

nice map, very creative, and the descriptions made me laugh out loud. the only problem i can see is some of the buildings. what i mean is that some of them look a little weird, even for crashed buildings. see if you have any budget, etc, and see if you can make it seem more natural. =)
    i would give it a 8 or 9 out of 10.

It looks cool but focuses way to much on looks instead of functionality, the road that is supposidly destroyed makes taking fast paced turns almost impossible. I like the idea but the track is non functional

From what you worded, it sounds like you didn't race the map at all. The only way to actually know if the track is "non-functional" or not is to actually race it.

As for the track itself, it is definitely one of the most creative and original tracks out there. The idea was implemented perfectly and quite surprisingly it races well. Great job, Masta.
