Hey and welcome to the forerunner mining site Calculus. This map is inspired by narrows. It features a similar middle bridge with an under passage and grav lifts that will fling you to the other side of the map.

This is the middle section of the map. you can see the Bridge and passages leading to the under passage and the light bridges.

This is a view from behind one side of the map. There are three paths to choose from when u leave your base. Going down the middle will lead you across the bridge. Going right will lead you to the man cannon or lower passage. Going left will lead you to your enemies landing zone and the lower passage.

This is a map overview to give you a clearer view of the pathways you can take.

Calculus is a symmetrical map and uses cover and weapon placement very effectively to create threat zones, with other features further engaging the awareness of players.

    Weapons:

    DMR x 2
    Neddle riflex2
    Needlerx2
Sniper x 2 ( Due to the shape and cover this weapon isnt too overpowered but if used properly can still be effective)
    shotgun x 2 0 spare clips
    PP x 2
    Active camo x 1
    AA Invis x 1

Set up for all gametypes and works well with classic team slayer 4v4. I plan on continually improving this map so feed back would be appreciated ... the spawns i feel may be a cause for concern but i am still educating myself in how to set weak spawn zones and etc.

Wow, this looks pretty sweet! How did you get that green lazer thingy in the first picture?

Nice job on keeping it simple. You didn't try to overdo yourself and kept it in easily controllable boundaries. However, you might want to add some eye candy.

Luckily Calculus v3 is not quite as hard as Calculus v2 was. Calculus v1 was still the best though, if you ask me. Maybe just because I had a good team that game.

how the hell did you get the huge amount of lights on this map? this map is modded isnt it?

yeah its modded alright after looking at it. and it failed to download 7 times

over all its an alright map it feels really cramped and its really easy to fall off.

Yes it is a modded map and that made construction quite difficult. However i downloaded the modded map from someones file share on bungie.net and had to drag at least 100 lights across forge world just for the effect and ... it gave me quite a limited budget for aesthetics .... I originally started with the idea of the light bridge then began building around it. I have no problem rebuilding it without the light bridge and adding more eye candy

Even so, modded maps are not allowed on ForgeHub.
