I posted my Halo wars map on bungie.net and I now have over 2,000 downloads. My goal was to get on the top downloads but I don't think I've reached it yet. If anyone has the time to download it, please do. I think the link above should bring you to my map! Covenant Base along with the inside: UNSC Base along with the inside: Map description: A Covenant base, accompanied by a UNSC base, surround the island of Paradiso. Both bases include vehicles that spawn after certain amounts of time as well as the Prophet's leader power (Displayed in the Thread Picture) to boost the Covenant strength. The turrets on the human base unfortunately dont actually work. I felt they would take away from the detail if they were simply machine gun turrets. However, the Covenant turrets are fully operational. Towards the back of the human base there's a room with two teleporters. One leads to the Falcon room and the other will spawn you somewhere random on the map. In the Covenant base, one teleporter will do the same and throw you out in the battlefield. Another will send you to the garage, and the last will bring you to the Cruiser. Weapons and Vehicles Covenant: Fuel Rod x1 Focus Rifle x1 (Prophet's Power) Banshee x2 Wraith x1 Ghost x3 Shade Turret x4 Elite Loadouts x5 UNSC: Grenade Launcher x1 (meant to add grenadier to Warthogs) Warthog x1 Gauss Warthog x1 Mongoose x1 (Obviously not in the real Halo Wars) Scorpion x1 Falcon x1 (Not in Halo Wars either but we cant use Hawks or Hornets) Update - 8/22/11: I've removed the Covenant gravity lift in front of the base and added a garage in the cave behind the base. Two teleporters now rest inside the base itself. One for the Cruiser and another for the garage. Shields now block each base to prevent the other team from entering, so if you leave the base, you can't get back in. Also, rocks have been added allowing for plenty of cover against most vehicles. Lastly, I wont be replacing the current map on my file share mainly because I'd like to keep the downloads that are currently on the map. If you download this map I would be more than happy to give you the updated one. Thanks Guys!
Your post isn't up to standards. Fix the following issues, or your post will be Locked. All map posts require at least one embeded picture or video. Add a description of at least 500 characters. (it's easy) Give information about your map. (the actual physical map itself) ~ More information and help on embedding pictures can be found at this link ~ Follow these few steps and you'll have yourself a great map post. For future referance, read the Rules when visiting new forums. It'll save you a lot of time and correction. Cheers, HarisSales.
It's at the bottom of the page, it says edit post. Then you can add pictures, and even a weapons list.(use link from HarisSale's post above)
Dude, this map is great, but could you post some pics for other people to see the map, and could you post the game type that you said you have. Good job, and you got my download.
