Pagode Everyone knows this phenomenon. You start the first multiplayergame and sometime something feels wrong...you and your controller are not fused. To fix this problem i created a ultimate warm up slayer map special for DMR. Octagon was yesterday! Small enough for 2 players and big enough for 4 or Team Doubles. For extrem action you can of course play with more people! -The map is characterized by a very fast gameplay - many ways to attack or change postion during the fight to suprise your oponents. -3 floors with long-, mid- and short range areas combined with elegant Chinese architecture weapons: 3x DMR - 30s 2x Needle Rifle - 30s 1x Shotgun (no spare clips) - 90s 1x Concussion (1 spare clip) - 90s Screenshots: I hope you enjoy it and post your opinion about this map!
Crazy details, very nice, but small which effects my game play when I was playing (makes my map look big, which it's not lol). Good job none the less and hope to see more things like these to come from you in the future!
I am also interested in the answer to this question. The large amount of glass you have used especially concerns me. From a pure design perspective however, the map looks excellent, and I'll probably give it a download for this reason alone.
I really love the detail on this map, but with so much glass in a small area I can imagine the framerate drops quite a bit. Would you be willing to post a version without so much glass, the layout is fantastic! -Atlas
hey guys, first thank you for your comments. I read that you have concerns because of the frame rate. I have tested the map with 4 players offline and online in a custom game with 5 players. Offline with four people on the screen it looks pretty bad, but I assure you that there is no lag. There are less items than you think there are. The whole construction is a balance between Aesthetics and Functionality. However...please download the map an test it by yourself. If there is any problem with lag i will fix it. thx
Amazing job on the athestetics and map design. try to go on to youtube and learn to set up more gametypes. Keep forging!
Just having 2 people be able to play on one screen requires immensely efficient forging to avoid any lag. It's almost impossible to have 4 players on a screen and not suffer framerate lag unless it's something incredibly simple like the FW maps in matchmaking.
