Wow this map is really good. It is very easy on the eyes and looks like it will have some interesting gameplay. But I feel like framerate lag might be a problem on his map, have you tested it for that yet? Also a mlg map named nexus that is in the mlg playlist is named nexus so you might won't to reconsider the name.
This map is awesome, I like the many tunnels, and multiple floors that you have, This has a great design to it, I cant wait to download this a test it out.
I like this map looks like it plays out good and have great aesthetics but i think you should change the name it's already like 3 maps out there with the name ''nexus''
Don't listen to the people who are telling you to change the maps name. Those other makers of the other Nexus maps don't own the name. Great map btw.
he is alowed to use that name if he wants to also btw i really am considering what is the size of the map also i really like its astitecs gives me some new way to create structures and forge world thanks for sharing this with everyone
Of course he's "allowed" use the name, but it's not going to be beneficial to either author. Now for some actual feedback, the CR and Pl are very close, with the Pl being like a jump away from the CR. I would replace the PL with the CR and remove the PL entirely. The Cr in the upper level only promotes camping, which is small with only one entrance. Also, the cover glass below the the OS was incredibly irritating to look at, though it's only an aesthetic issue and of course that may be a personal preference. Also you can throw grenades off the map underneath it, though again it's not that big a deal.
To answer a couple of questions about the map; 1) The map is a small to mid-sized map 2) I knew that with only one entrance to the top that camping would be an issue, thus, there is a soft kill boundary up top (kind of similar to the space part of Zealot). Therefore, when one does choose to go up top via the grav. lift (and say that they map have a shotgun) they will be forced to exist in about 10 secs. due to the soft kill boundary. However, when I was play testing the map during its early development (when there was only 1 exist from the top), I had noticed that people would camp the one exist area that makes up the main/mid. level of the map. Thus, I ended up creating 2 more exists (totaling 3 exists) in which allows those who are up top to have 3 choices of an exist; this in return had solve with the camping issue of the mid-level. 3) All though not that it matters (when compared to gameplay and originality), the name of the map will remain the same, unless I or someone else comes up with a better name.
