    Hello Forge Hub community! I'm here with you to share with you guys a brand new Distortion style map I recently finished Forging. Distortion Lab is a large symmetrical map inspired by Halo 3's Distortion by BuddhaCrane, respectfully. The map is forged at a 45 degree angle, so looking and movement have an awkard feeling to it. Distortion Lab is fully compatible with all gametypes ( Except Race, Invasion, and Safe Havens ). Distortion Lab also features a large area where the floor is level, like normal gameplay. The rest of the area is completely "distorted". Disortion Lab works for a MAXIMUM of 5v5 TS, or a 10 player FFA. In my personal opinion, I believe Distortion Lab would be a wonderful addition to Community Slayer.

    The Theme of Distortion Lab

    Distortion Lab is a laboratory where scientists have been recently working on an artificial 4th Dimension Experiment. The 4th Dimension Experiment is a test using artificial resources to create a distorted space of which people could still move in. After uncounted hours of research, development, and testing, these human scientists were successfull in their goal of creating an artificial 4th Dimension. Shortly after, an attemted Covenant attack on the lab for intel on the 4th Dimension resulted in the escape of the scientists, leaving their work behind and the laboratory sealed off to the outer world.

    Thats one interesting concept! I can imagine it being pretty mindbending to play on!
    My only question would be is it possible to access the upper areas of the bases due to the distortion?

    Yes, absolutely. It does appear as though you cannot, but you are able to access almost every corner of the map, despite the distortion! Enjoy.

    This map is great, I like how you made normal parts of the map and distorted parts, this map has great design and a nice concept. I like the bases and the overall structure. I will give this a download and check out the rest of the map. Good job on the map.

    The map looks decent, but I don't really like the distortion idea. It's been done before, and while it looks cool, you're better off building a map without it. Still, I'll give it a download and report back once I get a game or two on it.

    The map is awesome! Nice idea to make it both flat and distorted! Am i going to get sick if i play this map ;) Nice work man!

    Wow looks very creative. Even hard to watch at the screenshots, playing will probably be though but diversified. I'll try it soon!

    cool map!!! =) the gameplay would probably be confusing at first but very epic at the end. my only complaint is that for the rocket area, make it a bit more open, because you could just camp with the rocket and watch the 2 entrances, and with the window, you could see the enemies coming. so yeah, you could open up the roof of that room and make a one way shield in place of it so that if someone's camping in there, you could jump on them, but they cant shoot through the ceiling and they can't go out that way.
