My newest map "The Castle" is now finished and availiable for download with the link below. The Castle map Downloads HERE: http://www.bungie.net/forums/posts.aspx?h3fileid=34745490 The castle is a fast paced map in which the humans are to stay alive in The Castle which is 2 stories high with 3 turrets set up to mow down the infected as they make their way out of their protective home. But the turrets is not the only feature to the castle, the castle holds almost every weapon that can placed in forge! It also was 2 plasma turrets to slaughter the zombies who are lucky enough to get through the haze of turret gunfire. Now it may seem like it sounds inmpossible for the zombies to even enter the base but that is where they get an advantage. With the zombie attack varient, zombies get to have battle rifles and at about 3 minutes in to the round, the zombies get 2 special treats to help them out. The zombie home is basically a small fortification so that they do not die instantly from the gunfire of turrets and other players. Would be fun with a big group of people...throw in som interlocking to smooth everything out and you've got a gret map...
when i first read it it sounded like "total zombie ownage" but then i found out that they got battle rifles soo now it sounds a little more fair. it looks like the zombies should have some more cover.
Well there are no pics but to tell you the truth ive seen so many damn Zombie Castles/Forts/Mansions it drives me insane but put up some pics an i will check it out
Same right here, there is a tutorial on how to post maps with embedded pictures somewhere here on ForgeHub, but you probably won't get many downloads until then. However, I took the time to look at pictures on Bungie, and the map is decent looking. You might want to add a few features on the map. 1. Interlock. It creates a wonderful game environment, allowing more possiblities, and if done correctly, can make the walking surface of objects as smooth as the floor of Foundry. 2. The pictures of the map make it look like the zombies have little chance of infecting the humans. Using interlocking, you could make a one-way ramp that the zombies can use to drive vehicles into the playing field, preferribly Ghosts. You may need a gametype for this. Using all that I said, you could make a V2 of "The Zombie Castle", that uses all of these suggestions to create a greater game experience. Here's the link on Interlocking, and Here's the link to embedding pictures. Hoped I helped!
