The remake of the Halo 3 map valhalla 2 tanks, 2 warthogs, 2 banshees, plenty of mongooses (or whatever the plural of mongoose is) and lots of fun. Spawns spread across the map so that spawn killing is reduced/not going to happen (especially if there are small teams). Suitable for gametypes slayer (+variants of slayer) and any team colours can play, Assault and CTF can also be played, Red VS Blue Recommended map for large parties, clan matches and hopefully MM. Enjoy the map, any feedback on the map would be greatly appreciated, so I can improve (or at least try to) Long Live Bungie
The structures on the map looks good but, you should make the center cliff where the spartan lazer spawns better if you want it to be a good remake. Other than that the map is great, you got my download.
The plural of mongoose is obviously mongi. on the map i agree with the above. the bases are kick ass but the center hill is absent. and frankly the center hill is what made Valhalla a good map. 90% of all fighting took place on the hill or trying to take the hill. the other 10% is of course getting sniped and getting banshee raped. i would suggest a Valhalla re imagined and make a structure of sorts in the middle. not anything complex but something that blocks sight. makes players gravitate toward it. and houses the spartan lazer. also because the spartan lazer isn't as powerful as it used to be i might recommend also including rockets on the map perhaps replacing the near useless turret with them. this would only alter the battle flow slightly and would balance the supremely powerfull banshees all and all great bases. lack of planning in the middle. with only a little more work this map could easily make a permanent place on my hardrive and the hardrives of others. i strongly suggest a V2 so as not to let this piece of brilliance slip away. i think you should put more work into the whole map like add the cliff in the middle, the crashed pelican, the caves and put more work to the bases etc. looks good but doesn't remind of valhalla at all :/ [br][/br]Edited by merge: On the hill you could use coliseum walls and some blocks on the top

If you want to know how to make the center hill good: -1st- make the basic structure out of walls and building blocks. -2nd- cover the top of the hill with upside-down tin cups for the grass. -3rd- cover the rest of the sides of the hill with rocks so that the walls and building blocks are covered. -4th- if you can, delete the building blocks and walls that where used for the basic structure.
Ok thanks ive made the hill kinda looking like the Valhalla hill from just rocks itself, but i forgot abuot the grass thanks What about the crashed pelican or do you think i couold leave that out???
