Divine Inheritance

    This is my first real map, and my first one in reach. It's for big team and i'll have testing on sunday. The only changes i've made from this version is in the middle, where i switched the platform cover to an other one.

    I wanted to have the valhalla bases, but still having something in the middle, and an idea popped up in my head: Divine Inheritance.

    The two-way tellys (RED) on each base goes to each part of the bridge, for quick movement.

    The new and updated middle:

    The middle system which you get up with mancannons from the sides, and then up to the top with two more. If you walk forward, you go forward, if you walk slowly into it, you fly backwards up. Both ways lead to the top.

    Both of these, one for each side, goes to the opposite ground level teleporter.

    I have 4x Warthogs 30s
    2x Rocket Warthogs 60s
    2x Wraiths 60s
    2x Falcons 60s
    2x Ghosts 20s
    4x Mongeese 20s

    The wraiths, the falcons and RW's are synched in spawn time with each other and with the powerweapons:
    2x Plasma launcher 60s
    1x Rocket launcher 60s 1 extra mag
    There's also:
    4x Plasma pistols 30s
    4x Machine Gun Turrets 30s
    4x Needle rifles 30s 2 extra mags
    2x Dmrs 30s 1 extra mag
    2x Snipers 45s 1 extra mag
    2x Focus rifles 45s
    2x GL's 40s 5 extra shots
    2x Plasma repeaters 30s
    4x Plasma grenades 20s

    They are CAPS LOCKED...not backwards...unless he changed them and they are still messed up cause they are CAPS LOCKED now.

    Nope, the / is in the wrong spot.

    From what I can tell from the pictures this looks like a pretty solid map so far. Hope to see some updates!

    Thanks for the critisism. Damn pics though. I'm pretty much done, i might change the bottom part of the bases though, they look a bit junky. I also need weapon and vehicle balancing tests. I'll post a more advanced guide today, together with some more pics. I'll also post the weapon and vehicle list for feedback. Thanks!

    I would add 2 or several structures to the map itself, between the middle tower and each base, because I personally think it's a bit too opened in this area^^
    but if you test it and it's all right, then it's fine.
    just a thought from the first impression :)

    I think there's enough cover, there's lots of rocks. I can't afford it though. Thanks for the critisism.

    all right, if you say so, then I guess it's fine.
    It just looked to me like the middle position would be OP when everyone tries to get there from the base and you're pickin' them up with the snipe or DMR :D
    anyways, you tested it ingame, so it's fine if you say enough cover =)
    great map, like the valhalla-styled bases ;)

    I just saw the picture from overview and, jeah, I also think the bases are closed enough to the middle tower to get there "quite quickly" on foot :)

    so -> good map =D

    Yeah, i know the middle area might be OP, but i'll see when i test it. Maybe i could add a soft kill there? Forerunners have so cool architechture, i love it. Thanks

    In the middle area, where 2nd "extra level" place, where there's 2 mancannons. If it becomes a problem, i'll probably do that

    I understand what you mean now, but there's just 2 focus rifles, 2 plasma repeaters and a rocket up there, i think it's ok.

    aren't the spawn times for weapons and vehicles kind of fast?
    a map of this size cant really be done justice by the pictures but it looks solid, the middle structure looks good for breaking up los

    Yeah, they might be a bit quick, i'll put 15 seconds more on each except for the mongeese and for the ghost. Yeah, it breaks LoS great, one of my first ideas when i started making it.

    Lol, by a bit, I meant a lot
    if it works out then good
    but the norm for a tank is 180 and snipes are 120-180
    same with plasma launcher, and so on
    but if it ain't broke don't fix, because i haven't tested and you
    have (i assume)

    I might have made the spawns to frequent, but if so, it's probably because i hate being vehcile camped. I'll see what happens. Testing will occur in, like 6 hours, so if anyone wants to be in, send me a message.
