No, I designed it so you'd have to remove a turret if you wanted the bridge brought down. But if you wanted to have your own version where you could defend the bridge it wouldn't be hard to place a crate in forge, enabling you to jump up there.
I like this map, mostly because it's one of the more balanced types of Infection. The bridge is always what I use to kill my friends when they're mindlessly shooting down the hallways with the turrets, only one of them has picked up its existence. Overall, awesome. I put it on my file share after my friend requested it.
Actually, they're probably about the same size. But how I have things set up in this map make it seem a lot bigger and make it better suited for larger parties. That's awesome, thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot for the comments everybody, I really appreciate it. You guys who have downloaded the map I strongly suggest you play it with a large party, it's a lot of fun.
the description is too long. the word "amazing" would suffice... this map looks quite phenomenal to say the least. i love the pallet bridge! this map is absolutely awesome. need i say more?
Oh, you are just so sweet. Are you made of sugar? And since I'm here I'll share this video walkthrough of the map that Kowzorz made for me. (ty kow)
Normally I just use Save One Bullet, but it works better when they're just 100% gravity, since it's a bit easier to infiltrate the turrets, whereas if you have less gravity, it's quite literally impossible.
I wouldn't say impossible. Just a lot harder. You just don't want to spend a lot of time jumping around in that tunnel.
Looks like a cool map, I loved the alien quadrilogy, but whats that in the forth pic on the far side?, it looks like a spartan curled up in a ball.
If I remember correctly, that guy was crouch-walking over the bridge in order to surprise the humans.
Hm... Having turrets at the end of each choke-point sounds unbalanced... I'll have to give this one a go to know for sure...
Make sure you play with at least eight people, any less and you probably won't get the right feel from the map.
