Easter island scarab invasion Hello all welcome to my latest map This is Easter island, I have added the heads of easter island and even the volcano. Elites are invading the land and we must protect this beautiful island. This is just insane, it is working on every single gametype including 3 brand new gametypes speedpile scarab chess speed flag Also the alternative stockpile is an easter egg hunt, find all the eggs and take them home with over 20 flags/eggs hidden around the map. This is now an improved version I have added a cannon on mountain as alternative route to the scarab. On invasion stage 3 the Orange FX comes into play, but on no other gametype. The darkness it creates makes the final phase a little easier too. Changes have been made to the aesthetics of the scarab to improve the scarab and also to improve in some places that I wasn't happy with. I have improved the gametypes so on different games adding extra spawns, improving invasion adding more spawn locations, extra objectives to take to give variety and fix camping problems off first version, also the man cannon positioned on mountain has also helped, and greatly improved this map Elites weapons & vehicals: 2 ghosts & 1 wraith . 1 Shade turret in top of scarab, fuel rod cannon in bottom face of scarab, also 3 plasma turret. 8 plasma grenades, focus rifle (90s respawn ) sword, all power weapons are set to max respawn time of 170 -180s also powerful vehicals. No power weapon spawns at start. Spartan weapons & vehicals: A scorpian tank, pelican, 2 mongoose, 1 standard warthog. & weapons sniper, spartan lazer, rocket, 4 dmrs, shotgun, assault rifles, frags, in various spartan loadout spots. The way the map is set up it is best played with 1 bomb or 1 flag rather than assault or standard ctf as the team with the scarab will have structural advantage. There are spawns spercific to either team or ffa. The way the spawning is set up has been some of my best work. The scarab was made over the last few days. Over night some drastic changes have been made to improve the scarab, firstly I played the ark invasion on halo3 to get the aesthetics and the rooms of the scarab right. I have put a ton of work into this map! A little about the gametypes: Invasion is ter , ter , assault, 3 spartan loadouts Elites are in a range of spawning in and around scarab for all phases and improved in this version. Invasion - You blow the scarab up... Of course lol. First faze you have to rondevou at bridge I made by tunnel and secure the location, second phase opens spawning near tank, the objective get to the scarab bring the elites to there knees and take the scarab location, 2 objectives 1 on top of scarab or secure ground below opening up third phase, assault plant bomb in the core room . The way I set this map was for it to be able to play well without having to change anything (except phase 3 needs changing from ctf to assault) and it does work as there are weapons placed around in spartan & elite spawn bases... Team Slayer, one team has 2 loadouts with the tank and pelican spawning after 3 minutes to even the scarab strucural advantage. Sniper spawns closer to spartans after 3 minutes, the beam rifle spawns after 90's in elites scarab. KotH is like a mountineering mission all hills on 4 heighest mountains around Scarab chess, action sack chess with a nice backdrop for game Speedpile - new action sack gamytype, also easter egg hunt where you can carry up to 7 flags at a time stockpile - Easter egg hunt Race - a race around the island (6 check points) One bomb - blow the scarab up One flag - same in reverse Headhunter - team or ffa lots of different drop locations Infection. The scarab is a safe haven on upper parts, infection spawn near middle of island Odd ball! Can u climb the heighest peak to grab the oddball! second spawn area and tank & lazer spawn Halo scarab chess : Playing chess can take a while, what could be better than checking out the scenery while you wait for your turn Halo Chess Gametype Big THANK YOU to everyone who helped me test this out, also IIIROCKIII for his help in feedback that got me to improve scarab further, EightBall for helping test most versions out!!! Dude, I was just on XBL and just missed you. "I was like, where did Timmy go?" Then I checked FH and saw that you posted this teriffic map. I honestly can say that I had soo much fun testing this map and playing on it with all of the different gametypes. The aesthetics were great and the scarab was wonderfully made. I definetly recommend everyone to try this out. Great work my friend.

Ive seen a lot of your stuff and it's all top notch. Love the volcano it looks perfect really and the scarab is just nasty. Excellent Work maybe you could give me hand setting up some interesting gametype to go with this interesting map i have.
Hello Kilenum, thanks for checking out my map! This is by far my best work to date. It has some nicely made features. The volcano looks like a volcano. I like that this map utalises the nice island. Lovely rocks and inclines and mountains. You just can't forge that stuff. Adding the easter heads not only adds a nice aesthetic feature but also useful cover and some alteria motives too Your map sounds interesting. A good and fun game type can be the difference between a maps success. I have well overfilled my file share, I like all the maps on it so I wont be forging anything new for the time being, so I will be helping others and co forging if anyone is interested. Thanks
I played on this last night! Honestly, how do you find the time to do all these maps? This was sooo good. Love the way the you have to board the scarab, it's perfectly to scale as well. How many maps have you posted now BTW?
Hello buddy! Thanks for your feedback and helping test out this map. I have enjoyed the testing. Yeah I went onto halo 3 to get the scarab just right. all the cover is in correct place, and the aesthetics are as close as possible in keeping this map playable. I have posted 20 maps on here now, I have 40 maps completed and fully operational on loads of gametypes. File share been full a while. Also I have published 5 different gametypes. I have been on bungies most downloaded list and most recomended list almost every week. I have had 3 no 1 gametypes (on most downloaded list) and 6 maps in the top 5 most downloaded list. Thank you! It does set the sceen lol. It started out as the volvano and Easter island heads, but I felt it needed a wow factor, I tried a few structures but they weren't right as Easter island had no other structures so I felt the scarab fitted best . I'm glad u like the way it looks , halo 3 ark invasion helped me to get the interior and aesthetics of the Scarab right. Thanks for the great feedback!
This is a fun, visually impressive map and I enjoyed the games I played on it The scarab is well made and the vechile spawns are well placed The stone heads are also impressive There are a few things I would change The game type lasts far too long its about 30 minutes, 15 - 20 minutes is long enough More varied weapons should be added to help add varied gameplay so its not just spawn rush objective die repeat, not that thats without its charms but 15 minutes of that gets dull The attackers vechiles, the falcon especially, needs a safer area to spawn in its to easy to emp and grenade from the mountain Add a man cannon on the mountain connecting to the top of the scarab this would add variation to phase 2 and give another route to attack, or add jet packs to phase 2 Add more spawn points or open the spawns to all fire teams, having elite spawns on the ground under the scarab makes things too hard Don't get me wrong I do like the map but it could be made better by adding choice for players I was going to post this on your testing thread at xf but this was posted very quickly
I really, really enjoyed playtesting this map on several occasions and i have to say its amazing for all of the gametypes it supports, especially invasion which i remember me and you epically suppresing the enemy while our team mates plant the bomb =] Overall, this is one of my favourite maps for gameplay and aesthetics nice work! 10/10
Hello! Firstly I'd like to thank you for your help testing! Great job and you were always invoved and playing and killing me lots lol! Thanks for your thorough feedback. After testing I made 2 changes to the invasion game. 1 the spawning for the spartans. On phase 3 they were supposed to have the option of spawning closer. I had it set to wrong team by accident and was a simple and quick fix, secondly I lowered the height of the second objective and added a second objective for the second phase inside the scarab. The time set on map was long but in other tests I had played the objectives were all won as there was a better team spirit. I did notice a few none players unfortunitly in the test you talk of where as in all the other tests I had done earlier everyone got involved. People were camping more in that test too where as in other tests everyone was having fun and playing how the map is intended. But the objection change in the second phase has fixed that. I would rather also jetpacks being used rather than man cannons as the senario is more realistic as I have set it up. The elites are in and at the scarab, its how it is, it wouldn't make sence for them to spawn anywhere else I feel. I agree on the wraith emp, it was funny seeing such a good shot getting the pelican on the off chance.(it was me lol as there were a number of non players I got annoyed) In campain it can happen too, structures wont look right, thats why there aren't any. I wanted to keep to the Easter island as accurate as possible. There are 3 different spawn locations with a number of different spawns in the respawn zones. also

I had about 12hrs sleep in 4 days. Just the excitement of this map for me. Just picked up smaller hd tv untill my new one arrives lol. Thanks again for your help in testing!

Most people that view maps don't get a look at them during the process. On this map I got a good before and after look, thanks. It would be hard to think of a harder Aesthetic challenge than to build something this well known and big and so frigging rounded as a map center piece... and pull it off. The before Scarab was pretty cool... but the after Scarab... damn. I know it's not easy taking that much time and effort to build something that big and complicated then pretty much take it apart and re-fit it like you did. That's probably the difference between a great map maker and just a map maker. Not only that, you turned it into a excellent multi gametype map as well, geeze! ROCK
Thank you ROCK! Your help and feedback greatly influeced some of the improvements made on the map. I have fixed the Scarab up further. The back left leg didn't seem right so I re adjusted it and any tweeking thaat was needed aesthetically. I have also improved many of the gametypes. Rally now has around 20 checkpoints in certain areas around the map. Also the speedpile has been greatly improved. Adding a man cannon to the scarab has also increased players options and improved. I am happy with the remake. As always timmy your creative aesthetic forging skills are awsome. I think this map really is cool and shows your forging style alot.You like to make themed maps and i think you excel at this.I hope this map gets the attention it deserves. I personally think it will do well as the rock heads and scarab are perfectly forged and look really cool.Keep up the awsome work
Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback. I have tried to keep original and versatile in my maps. There are a lot of aspects I like on the map. The Easter heads seemed like a good idea, I kind of seen the island in pictures and noticed a resemblance to the island on forge world to Easter island. With all the egg hunts on reach, I thought i'd make one of my own. Thanks!
