So i was thinking about making a soccer map for a while, so i made it its pretty much like grifball without friendly fire, the point is the hit the ball into the enemy teams goal and you will score a point (eventually since the lowest the stockpile timer goes is 15 seconds) it works like the skee ball scoring thats pretty much it and 180 seconds into the game 2 pillars spawn near both goals as blockers the ball returns from the side not really much to show or talk about just play
You spelt football wrong... Also, this idea has been done countless times before, you should think about sprucing your map up a little more to persuade people to download your version of other peoples.
It doesn't matter how he spelled it, no one cares about women's sports anyway (BOOM!). Jk, had to take a jab though, you understand, I actually enjoy soccer; watching and playing. In any case, I suggest you change the map so it falls under the "HaloBall" gametype, much easier and smoother gameplay with no waiting or ball re-spawning of any kind. Also, I do have to agree with Stevo, liven it up a bit if you're going to try a soccer game, everyone and their grandma has already seen it or done it. Happy forging
First off, it does matter how he spelt it, because it's WRONG!!! The official name is football, not soccer... And, again, as mentioned before, this idea has been done countless times, and your map just doesn't stand out from the rest. Maybe some more asthetic peices or something could be addded to give it that unique flavour. One final question, are there any more pics of the map we can have to gaze at? I don't think just one picture will get you many downloads...
I agree completely with stevo, and i'd like to add that squared corners are not cool. Rounded corners or GTFO (lol, just kidding). Might also be worth mentioning that footballs have some kind of issue with movement and can be quite glitchy, it's probably better to use a golf ball.
The word ''soccer'' or ''footbal'' is a just one of these words that (for example) America just had to change for the sake of their own language. Take a look at this for example: LOL.
There's a reason for that. Englishineers don't want a word that sounds almost exactly like "An Anus." In another language, anus may sound different, so it would be acceptable. [/Explaining something that was already clear to everyone]
