I haven't played the map, but I played A LOT of Dead Space, and I can vouch for the accuracy from the video I just watched.
That means a lot. Thank you. I tried to make it as accurate as possible. I've played the Dead Space campaign 2 1/2 times already and I know that level front to back. From everything I put in, it's about 75% to 85% accurate minus the zombie spawn.
Same here. The map is borderline identical. Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem to be a very serious Infection map. There are just too many camping spots and (from what I can see) power weapons. It seems to have more use as an aesthetic map. Also, why was this posted in the Gametypes section rather than Maps?
This looks pretty damn good. I just wish there was a weapon list and or player settings list to help us understand how the game works
Thanks. And yeah, there are a few power weapons but the clips are extremely low. After all, Dead Space had the Contact Beam and Line Gun. All the camping spots except the holdout rooms are all soft kill. Plus, I'm still kind of new and I THOUGHT that's where it was supposed to be. Then, I realized it meant gametypes as in actual game modifications. My bad. xD My apologies. Here's a few weapons I know of - Grenade Launcher, Needler, Spiker are in the spawn room. In the next room is a Rocket Launcher (2 shots), an overshield, a camo, and an assault rifle. There are some hidden weapons. In the standoff room, there is an assault rifle, DMR, grenades (plas&frag), and a hidden BUT in plain sight gravity hammer. I believe that's a majority of the weapons. The objective is to stand against the zombies for 3 minutes until the round ends. Zombies: Respawn is in the standoff room. There are vents that you can teleport through. Zombies are slightly faster by 10% but have the basic damage resistance. They have golf clubs, too. There's a teleporter that takes them to the beginning by the survivor spawn to get a drop on infection rates. Survivors: All basic survivor attributes (shields, damage, etc). Loadouts are according to some of the weapons in Dead Space (tried to make it as realistic as Forge could let me). Weapon pickups are available but are not vast. There are really only 6 to 10 weapons on the map. Sorry I didn't list these earlier.
As a Player that has not played dead space this looks like a great map. It good that you can apeal to players outside of dead space. Good Job
