I'm having trouble with lights on a map I'm currently forging. I've phased a single light each into the red and blue base ceilings, and they illuminate the rooms very well when in Forge. The problem is that when I test the map in customs, the lights don't cast any glow at all. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Don't play splitscreen.

Well that's hardly practical for a multiplayer map.

There are certain limitations to playing split-screen due to framerate issues. Try it online and see how it looks.

Chrono, split screen connect to live is the same as disconnected.

The games graphics get drastically reduced when playing split screen. There is nothing you can do except not play split screen.

I obviously meant play with friends online, without the split-screen.

Ok. Makes sense now - thanks for clearing that up. As long as I'm here I may as well ask this too: Whenever I try to invite XBL friends to play my own map online, the message "user content is not permitted on Xbox live" shows up. How should I be doing this properly?

That has something to do with family settings. For whoever's problem it is, tell them (or you) to go to your family settings on the dashboard and set it so you're allowed to view/access user-created content.

Indeed, it's there because online content is essentially unrated, and for good reason considering all of the terrible XXX abominations that populate the file browser.
