So is this is exact remake or did you modify the design. meaning is the map parts setup like midship or did you try a different approach, using your own ideas. some of ceilings look a little high. is that for the jet pack? ether way nice map. BTW- You should add a description of the map. give a little backround information.
I played this the other day, and it's pretty solidly built. However, I didn't like the weapon set changes, and I think the golf/soccer balls can be replaced with overshield and camo powerups to better dictate which side you're on. All the players thought it looked a bit goofy. definitely preferred the sword over the grenade launcher as well.
Nice video. Tsquared is still my favorite MLG Player The map looks awesome, I haven't followed MLG since Halo 3, so did they add it to their playlist? If so, congrates guys. Also, sorry for having my map named the same, thanks for letting me know.
It might be added for MLG but they aren't testing these yet. It's being heavily considered for the Classic playlist and most likely will be in it. I didn't feel the need for description as it's basically self described in the vid, pictures and that it's a remake. Not sure about weapon changes, i'm sure if it's Classic playlist, it'll need to be changed. It was remade best to scale that we could come up with for reach and what we have available to us.
I never thought in my life that I'd see a remake that is better than the original. I don't really even care to go back to Halo 2 after seeing something like Prophet. CTF is godly on this map. Tsquared was always my favorite MLG Pro since the early days of Halo 2. That's gotta be one of the best gameplay vids I've yet to see. Good job on this map, and I hope to see it in the Classic Playlist in the near future.
Love this map, showed it to a couple of friends a couple of days ago and we've done our FFA warm ups on it since, they've really taken to it. One thing they and I wondered though: did you test with anything more substantial than a soccer ball in the middle of the dishes underneath the bases? It'd be nice to have something to break up LoS down there just a tiny bit more, something you could crouch behind at least from some angles. Obviously you don't want to make holding out down there too appealing, but I feel you could put something a little more substantial there without risking that. Aside from that I love it, plays beautifully for 4v4 or FFA which is true to form. Visual definition on each side is subtle yet effective which is great, and the Evade bottom mid is a great addition imo. EDIT: loving this vid as well, fight over that first cap was epic. Was that at TLN or online?
Nice playing with you earlier today Pegasi. Not sure where that cap was from, TLN had it for a lan, so possibly from then but I know they played it quite often before and after we got it to TLN. Definitely have some ideas for bottom bases and Controlix has got some fresher stuff for an updated version as well as some fixes I have for pink. Hopefully we'll be able to swap the new version into the Classic Playlist.

You too man, had a blast. Apologies for my host on High Noon and Dreadnaught, it's always fun for me but rarely for anyone else. Yeah I remember you mentioning that you were going to forward an update to Jeremiah, sounds good. One thing I forgot to mention was a tiny niggle, the ramp from Red Street up to Pink is slightly misalinged. It doesn't cause a bump when walking really but I had a nade bounce right back and hit me in the face during a 1v1 on it. It was only that once but I dropped in to forge to see if it was an easy fix and it only took me a second, pulling the bottom ramp out slightly makes is flush just like on the Blue side, and there's no z-flicker. Didn't know if you were already aware for the updated version so I thought I'd better mention it. Looking forward to getting more games on this, grats again on MM.
