Hey, im relatively new to forge hub, but i am not new to forging. I have a series on youtube called Halo Reach Forge Maps and Modes. Anyways, on to this map. Basically, this map is the Covenant AA gun found throughout the campaign. Here is an overview of the entire map. The first phase is capturing territories. Spartans spawn around this crashed pelican. There is a shotgun and a grenade launcher around the falcon. It isnt standard for invasion but I believe that offense is harder than defense. Your objective is to capture the covenant towers, and bring down the giant barrier that you see in other screenshots. The towers i am very proud of, i think it looks pretty realistic. There are different weapon crates which i actually forged them into the block so it looks a lot better. They are located on the towers and on the main gun. Also, there is a plasma cannon on each tower. Next phase is assault. You have to attack the Tyrant gun. The spartans have a few weapons. they have these weapon pods. for the first phase there are a bunch everywhere with grenades and ARs or DMRs, but when you go to the next phase, then you have one pod with a sniper, one with spartan laser and one with a rocket launcher. these are also the spawns for spartans on the 2nd and 3rd phases. They were based on the weapon pods in halo 2 and 3. You have to assault the interior of the AA gun, bring down the shields and offline the gun. You arm the bomb here, and you look like a stealthy ninja while doing it. And then it has a massive explosion, probably because i crammed in a bunch of explosives in the room . There is a falcon that spawns on the 2nd phase and another falcon on the third, warthogs are trash on this map lol. But beware, vehicals and weapons for the covy team are there to balance everything out. Ghost on 2nd phase and wraith + banshee on the 3rd. I dont have anymore pics, but the core spawns in the area where you bombed. you carry it back to around the pelican. well that is it, i hope you download it. the map and game mode are both available for you. This looks like a okay map. I know I have not played it yet or anything I will download it though. It just looks very spaced out. It looks like I would have lots of fun with my friends and such playing this map. I will test it and give you another response of how I like it. But love the pics, and the big thing on the last pic. I really love your series( look for new ones almost everyday). On topic, this map looks great but i feel that falcons in the 2nd phase might be overpowered. you also might want to add a mongoose or a warthog (eventhough they are trash) to make it a little easier for the spartans.
You know you have a great idea here, but a few minor drawbacks. If you want to make your map playable you should really avoid fixed weapons. Not sure how much you tested the gameplay, some weapons and vehicles seem overpowering. One note that I have to add is that the powercore looks sick. There are some things about the gun itself that I would change. Interesting idea though.
I have tested out the maps. there is a plasma launcher that i forgot to mention on the covy side to take out falcons. thanks for the feedback though
Alright so when you blow the bomb and the window thing disappears! NICE TOUCH! and the core thing is sweet aswell!
