MLG IGN!S v2.8 Recognized players: 6-8,1 vs 1 or FFA Recognized gametypes: Mlg Slayer, Mlg FFA and Mlg Ctf Map Description: Mlg Ignis is a a small team based mlg map in classical but in its own style. The structure is easy but brilliant at the same time. There are two bases ( Red and Blue ) which are both connectet with the main map by two tunnel. In the middle of the two bases or better in the main part of the map you got a perfect area for team based Dmr skill. But there are also enough places to cover you from enemy shoots. Like some guys said: You can compare the main Structure of the map to the Halo 3 map "Mlg Amplified". I would agree with that in a few points, but there is a difference. You can find an evaid equipment on the top Middle of the map and a rocket launcher on bottom mid. Also there are two sniper rifles on this map. One in every Base. Because no one want a map who is dominated by Power weapons, the rocket launcher only got two rockets. The sniper rifles have normal Mlg ammo setings ( 12 bullets ). Weaponspawns: Weapon: Spawntimer : Beggining: Rocket 178 True Sniper 118 False Evaid 118 True Playerspwans: In the beginning of the game the players will all spawn in the middle of there bases. In the match the players will normaly spawn in there base or close to the tunnel which are connecting the bases with the middle area of the map. But if the enemys are trying to spawnkill them in there base the team will spawn in the middle area so they can clean up their base from enemys. In fact, its an anti spawn kill system. I really like the way this map feels. What I really want to know is how did you get that cool flame around the block?
I just watched that video, it seems like a really tight map, awesome with color. That flame in the back looks badass, but it doesn't seem legit. If it is legit, PLEASE teach me But for feedback, the bases should have at least one more way to it, other than the left or the right. Also, those circular ramps don't do much back there. Either elevate those or delete them and elevate/lower the bases for height variation. It's really a cool map though
I'm assuming the flame's a kill ball that is barely showing through. Anyways, I like how the floors, walls and ceilings are all made out of different, unique objects. If I may ask, how much budget did you use on this map?
jo I budget for a further 30 on the map but I still have very many parts the map is not the place I only have parts to build expensive [br][/br]Edited by merge: It is not even on the budget but how many of you installed has objet this is just so expensive because I have built the building the map is not (legging)
Sweet map!! Like what everyone else is saying, the bridge is amazing! probably the highlight of the map for me! I was wondering if you would be able to make a non-MLG version of the map that would support most gametypes. A lot of my buddies hate MLG...

Wow, NICE> normally people forge with pieces and use the as they were intended to be used, But you twisted and manipulated object in ways I didn't even think of doing. It looks great. The little details you added really do make a difference. And I like the colors you chose. You don't have any Fx on do you? Because the screenshots look a little.. different.
ME and another friend already looked at this map and it inspired us to jump right into forge, i said to another friend when reach was first comming out that now that forging is so easy its all about figuring out what peces go togther good and look nice, and you have clearly mastered that. Its very good keep up the good work PS we also looked at your big team maps and it is equaly sexy.
My only issue with this map are the bases and the snipers. Other than that, the map looks amazing. The map looks to small to handle snipers, it's either to easy to camp with the snipers across the tunnels or out right impossible anywhere else. The bases on the other hand look cramped and encourage too much grenade spam.
this is the first map I have ever seen that someone made for MLG that is also aesthetically awesome. Just when I thought people didn't know how to combine MLG with aesthetics...

This is probably the only MLG map you've played then. Almost all MLG maps have some sort of aesthetics in them. The MLG community isn't completely against aesthetics, only the ones that have to sacrifice gameplay to get there.
