Commons is a small, symmetrical 2-8 player map, designed after a part of the Halo 2 campaign level, Cairo Station. Though some things have changed, most has remained true to the original level, and retains the feel of the original. This map is pretty boss. Although i can't understand the layout, maybe a video or overview will do the trick. I don't quite understand the Neutral DMR Spawn. Is it just a one-way hallway with a DMR at the end? I can't tell. Some of the parts in the base you have to jump, i've noticed. This can be good or bad, but i'm not sure if a crouch-jump is required to get in the base. It's not that people can't crouch jump, newbies might not know how to. Overall the map is neat. Doesn't look like there would be framerate issues, and it has a CQC feel in some parts but not in others. I like that. BTW, "Commons is set up for every main gametype short of Race..." <-- You forgot to put invasion in that sentence. And i havent played halo 2 that might explain the layout i don't understand lol
I looked at the pictures before I read anything and I was like "Halo 2!", so I think you succeeded quite well in accurately remaking this.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I clarified the Invasion thing in my OP, as well as added some new pics better detailing the map and showing some important jumps. Yes, a crouch-jump is required to get in the base, in Halo 2 it was also, so I tried to make it as similar as possible.
