A forge idea for anyone

    i've had this idea for a while but i dont have time to forge anymore so im giving it up and hopefully someone would implement it.

    Idea: A map that grows over time.

    By using the spawn timer on objects, you could make start as a simple map, but as time goes on it grows into something more complex, like more paths, stairs, walls, weapons, scenery.
    altho i do believe the highest time is 180 seconds(3 minutes) so it doesnt leave that much time but could still work.

    Or could be used this in a race map, and use multiple checkpoints for the new path.

    Using the different stages of Invasion would probably work better as it gives the players a better indication of when said changes will occur

    i never forged/custom game for/in invasion cause i never have a group to play with. would you care to explain what you mean?

    really? could you point me to a few maps that do that?

    sure. zebrasoma who is on my friendslist have made a bunch of maps around that concept. not sure if they are on fh but if you want to see them add me to xbl.

    I haven't played Reach online in ages, but the people I used to play with used a map like you discribe. There is one major flaw with them though if you have to find a new host (or whatever it is) all the pieces reset - which often resulted in a watery grave.
