I don't know if its been nominated yet but I nominated: No Hope Act 1: The Sewers: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-casual-maps/112161-no-hope-act-1-sewers.html No Hope Act 2: The Streets: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-casual-maps/109987-no-hope-act-2-streets.html Cause they add a new stile of infection gameplay that can be hectic and addicting
Just popped back in here looking for something (hopefully) tasty to try out tonight and found this nice little flood of goodies. Thanks for all the noms guys. Why didn't any one tell me about this? @Youtuber: While I don't expect the staff to take a look at anything, especially by me (lmao), I do think there's something being said in this thread...
Nomination: Saucered Download link: Bungie.net : Halo Reach : File Search The winner of ther bungie, forgetacular competition for invasion. this map features an incredibly enjoyable game and some of the best dynamic map making I've seen to date. There are one or two things I would fix which are entirely ascetic and make zero difference to gameplay. (If you're standing where this goes off you're going to die anyway. If you would rather see the ascetically upgraded version let me know. P.S. No this is not my map I just enjoy fixing other peoples creations.
http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-competitive-maps/117300-sapphire.html Sapphire because it's aesthetics and gameplay are beast.
Valic by Nibs I played a few games on this when it was in the testing stages at which point it was the best game of CTF I played in Reach, which is now only second to the games I've played on the finished version. The vehicles are incorporated seamlessly into the game, and are highly effective without being overpowering. The vehicle paths are broken up by natural cover allowing foot soldiers to skillfully avoid them, and creating havens for foot soldiers to wait out the thread of vehicles. From 4v4 to big team battle this map is one of the best I have seen. Note that this would be the first big team map featured by Forge Hub. /tldr: feature it
Acervus ^^ I've playtested it and both the gameplay and the astethics are awesome FH DL thread: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-competitive-maps/118867-acervus.html
One question: do the maps have to work for multiple gametypes or what if they are designed just for 1 gametype? Could it still be submitted?
1 is fine. As long as it works extremely well for that single gametype, as the expectation is it was built around it.
http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-...enerators.html The Generators by Plasma Blades. If it doesn't get accepted then it would be very strange since it also got Featured in H3.
Your map link is broken..here's the link. Also, that map didn't get featured in Halo 3. Not on Forgehub at least. Nor should it be featured because it was featured in halo 3. That's a terrible way of thinking..
I think Cargo Port by Psychoduck would be a great map to feature. It is a medium sized map with great Aesthetics, great weapon placement, and is designed for most gametypes. I knew i missed somebody.
this might have already have been submitted (i page skimmed) but the hushed apprentice by Bones 153, it is pure the silent cartographer awesomeness combined with the best balance athstetics and combat to create the best invasion map I have ever played. and even though this has already been mentioned cargo port by psychoduck and mattkestrel for obious resons NOTE: the hushed apprentice needs to play with invasion spire or else it will fail
