Hit N' Golf 4-8 players Made by Mocha Welcome to Hit N' Golf, hopefully the next big mini game. Hit N' Golf was a map started in Halo 3 with various versions and test. So it was a big job to get in Halo Reach. Hit N' Golf has very interesting gameplay, every body starts with an golf club and an energy sword. The player's golf clubs do no damage, but then what would it be used for, it will be used to smash golfballs. The point of the game is to use the golfballs as your weapon. That makes the game interesting! The game is pretty self-explanatory, the game usually ends up in chaotic fun and never ending laughs. Overview Of Octagolf Arena Inside of Octagolf Arena "Mocha? How does this work?" Well its impossible to make this mini game free for all and make people use concept properly. If you make it so you do no damage, the golfballs would have no effect. So I had to make it so everybody is on the same team. That way people would have Betrayal Booting off and Friendly Fire is disabled. Everything works on smoothly from then on. You get points for betrayals. Sadly there is only one honor rule... Everybody must be on the same team, it doesn't matter what color, just everyone on the same team, if someone isn't, kick them from the party for disobeying me. Concussion Rifles = Pure madness. Seriously, if you thought Hit N' Golf was probably the craziest mini game ever (next to Double Rainbow by Rifte) then you are wrong. Sounds like an interesting idea. I've never thought of this before. DLed. The octagon shap of this map is made surprisingly well..... but... what's with the grid?
WHOOT IM IN THE FIRST PICTURE!!!!1!11111!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!11! I had fun testing this... this... madness mocha has created. It is very fun with the right people and can easily create some WTF moments... like when I hit the ball, it rolled around the arena (yes, golf balls can be chuck norris in this game) and killed a guy. sorry Kingpyro. I just don't like the concussion golf gametype too much. :/ Zow, the grid is there because the whole arena has a blue light, the grid is blue, it goes with the feel of the map.
In fact, you were the one kicking my ass in my own game. Im glad you had fun testing. And you are in the first picture for being completely badass.
Well even though people beat you to doing this game back in Halo 3 the idea would be fun. But the problem I see with it is the fact that you all have to be on the same team. Because then no one person can win. All the points go towards the team's score. To me that just doesn't sound like something I want to play.
The grids are to keep the golf balls from getting out of the arena, I think. The grids also go with the theme of the map as Talons013 said.
Great game! I remember testing this map with you Mocha and I have to say it was original and exciting. It gave the perfect element of quickness while being safe. I would leave more feedback but Im in a hurry. I will later, great game Mocha!
Well these are the flaws of forge. There is no other way to make it free for all. I tried and this is the closest I came up with. Trust me, you may not prove me wrong.
Well that was my fourth favorite aspect of this little idea. That no matter what, everyone wins! It kinda takes a break from the massively competitive styles of most multiplayer CGs while still letting you kill each other, kinda like those coin collector games in the Mario Party games. I've not once gotten pissed over losing, even if I did not contribute to my teams score.
Oh yeah, I'm the one in the third picture getting my but smacked by a giant ball no sexual joke intended. This mini game is incredible and the gametype took forever too perfect but in the end it was perfect. A ton of fun with any size party and will stay on my hard drive forever.
HOLY. ****. Played this with you a couple weeks ago and man, I had fun getting my face smashed in with giant golf balls and laughing all the while. I have no suggestions as there is nothing more this game needs except that I don't dig the grid roof, but dosen't change the fun factor in anyway. Overall 9.5/10 - Taco
I thought I'd heard of this in Halo 3... Hahaha! This was lots of fun, and it's hilarious when you hear "betrayal" every few seconds, followed by the sound of your friends TV breaking! Rating: Awesome/10

Haha thats me in the CQB helmet. Sorry Mocha for leaving more feedback later than I said, just hadnt gotten around to it until now. Anyway, all I can tell everyone is that this game is a game like no other. Different elements in this game that completely differ from other minigames. I say to give this game a try and I can say with confidence youll love it.

i was bored of playing mm so i decided to try out this game i thought it wasnt going to be something id like but after playing it i wish it could be in Action Sack so everyone could play it its really fun
In fact, I may replace Concussion Golf with Grenade Launchers, or give them both. I was also thinking of making another gametype using Plasma Launchers which may change the gameplay of Hit N' Golf. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Thanks man! But if this will be put into Action Sack, then Bungie needs to make an gametype so you can kill people the same way in Hit N' Golf without changing teams. Therefore it can be 4v4 or 2v2. But on that note, I'll need to change up the spawns.
