is it possible to create a conveyor belt? i think i might know how to make a bad one using a man cannon and phasing it into the floor but is there a better way (assuming this actually works) or anyone at all?

also what would i do if i wanted to make the screen fade into complete darkness for a few seconds?

I'm sure you could place a series of mancannons under a line of crates for a better effect. It'd just be a really fast conveyor belt.

If you want to make the screen completely dark, you can have FXs appear a few minutes into gameplay, unfortunately, they will not disappear unless it is an Invasion gametype and I would still not recommend it. You can have a completely dark opening screen however, just place a colliseum wall in a dark area in the colliseum and have the initial loadout camera staring right at it.
As for the conveyor belt, there might be a way to create upward movement with one way shield doors, but you are probably better off with just a ramp.

You could make the area dark with capture plates, but then you couldn't shoot or use grenades. Soft kill zones would hinder vision after time as well

MY guess would be man cannons under one way shield doors but I haven't tried it out yet.

There is a trick thread with diffrent tips and tricks so you may find something that could give you an idea or some effect to try. You can find it here

If you are trying to make elongination keep in mind you have a 10 crate limit. So most you could put is 5 crates per map.
