I don't know you would have to test it first my guess is that it would just be the same as regular grifball

It wouldn't work too well, most maps only have 4 spawn points per side, so most likely 4 players would spawn at random parts outside the court.

Amazing Bomb is basically a BTB version of Grifball, but it's only available in Halo 3. If only Ace and Noxy would remake it in Reach...

would be cool but I hate grifball (ie, I suck really bad with the hammer)
you could add mongooses for fun, but not let the bomb person get in it

Ive played a grifball game with 6 per team, and I must say:

    It sucked.

Stick to 4v4, its much better. The court was custom built for large team play but it just didn't work well. At all.

The map size was perfect. PERFECT.

However, we only played a version of Vanilla Grifball, without AA's (Which is the better version IMO), and something just didn't work with it. Everyone in the game was great at grifball, we all played together on occassions, hence the building of the map, but it just didn't feel right.

In the end, you may make a different map and gamemode that suit the game fine. So I'd suggest giving it a go anyway.

I would love a version of Grifball where you can throw the bomb like a football. Now that would be amazing with more players (like up to 8 vs 8). Imagine fighting your way into enemy territory, or sneaking in there, and then someone heaving the bomb to you for a quick score. Unfortunately throwing the bomb now is more like heaving it girlishly one foot away from you, which just doesn't cut it.

add some evade or sprint maybe and you'll have one hell of a game. it would probably turn out to be a really crazy casual game. might be quite interesting to watch too.
