Survival is all that matters. Download Line of Defense Download Survival Infection Variant (Not required, but helpful) This intense infection base is about picking your spot and way of survival and staying alert. There is an underground crouch basement, turret defense, and one Warthog. The Survival infection variant is not required, but it is probably the best variant for it. Weapons do not respawn and have limited ammo. Zombies spawn in the back Foundry hallway and have to walk over to the teleporter. They'll be on you before you know it. This map does not have the common problem with infection bases - neither zombies nor humans dominate. Pictures Overview Break through the pallets for the underground basement. These two chose the basement. Bring on the Zombies. Baiting the trap. The first line of defense, Turrets. Straying away from the base - you'll have to live with that decision. Actually... Over and under. Sabotaged. The one who survived.
this looks like a really good map. pretty simple overall, and i like the basement. looks like a perfect infection map! stop spamming please, this is the second map i've seen you doing this on.
Looks nice,but could more be done to this map,it looks fun,but maybe with a few more things,it would be more fun! 4/5
I like it how youve used the basement but could you add a bit more to it like add walls into it or something?
Some people are saying build up the walls, but i think this would make the humans dominate, you have it set up now where there are 2 main entrances to the basement, if you block one of those off the humans can just get eachothers back and camp the spot, resulting in some unhappy zombies. However, if zombies are not 1-2 shot kills then you should deffinatly add more to the building, one thing you could do is build up the walls, but on the outside put grav lifts, or lower the zombies grav. so they are able to jump over the house from multiple ways

I had almost the exact same idea a while ago! Great minds think alike, eh? In my version you had to move from base to base when the ammo ran out, adding a little more strategy and teamwork. Overall, this map looks great, and I am DLing now. One thing, you might want to make the turrets in a corner or something, so that you have to detach them to use them, limiting their ammo and stopping people from just sitting on the turrets and spamming. I haven't played it though, so this may not be a problem.
looks like it could be a fun map however im gonna ask if the zombies have lower healt because then the humans would be way over powered atleast thats what i thought from looking at the pictures it looked like some one could just sit on the turrets killing the zombies maybe a little more cover out in the open so the zombies have a greater chance of making it to the base?
Thanks for all the replies - about building up walls and everything - I tried very hard to match limited human firepower with many zombie points of entry to make for an epic game. Humans have strong fire, but only for a little while. To CaMOfo, the turrets can earn you a few points, but if you try to save ammo by not detaching it, zombies will slay you by going through the man cannons and get behind you.
You clearly didn't read my post. It isn't. It's very balanced - humans have very limited ammo and zombies have several different points of attack. Humans CANNOT camp successfully.
Still. This isn't very inventive, or different than most of the infection maps out there. All I see, is the humans stay in one spot. You even said in your thread post, that if you venture too far, you most likely die. Please tell me how I am wrong.
Well, that is your opinion and you have a right to it. I like how it plays and believe it is a very fun map.
