Rotunda (subject to change)

    Well i havn't forged in a long while (since cod black ops came out) so i decided to go ahead and start forging. This map idea came from the first lvl of the Reach campaign, but looks nothing like it. I used the creek part of the island to do it. It consists of 2 bases one a tad larger than the other, it boasts round topped buildings with open balconies, a good dmr sniper map. Note this is just something quick i decided to whip up this is day 4 of the forge and its almost done lol.

    I think the warthogs might be overpowering but idk till i get a testing session going, the only explosive weapon is the grenade launcher located in the a neutral area (not shown up close i can't reveal everything can i??) Anyway this is what i got so far, tops of roofs are not campable and the los are pretty straight forward (you can see almost every part of each base from each bases balconies etc.

    To illustrate that point here is a shot from Blue Base minor tower

    Looks clean I suppose, but I can't tell much else about it. I like the location you chose for it though, it adds some new natural geometry o the map that is rarely seen in other maps.
    As far s screenshots go, once you're done taking the pictures look at each of them in your local files while in the lobby. That always seems to work in syncing the files to bnet for me.

    Some of the structures look neat but like he (^^^) said, there isn't much we can gather from it. I'm looking forward to more screenshots.

    Just letting you know, sometimes screenshots don't show up at all on bungie.net so you might have to go back and take new ones. I've had to do that a few times.

    I love the way you used inverted pieces like the platforms to form ceilings, but since those were never really meant to be used that way, there are places on the sides people could access only with a jetpack then camp there. I addition to that most of the roofs of your buildings are not made in a way that would be easy to walk over, and are not very accessible to anyone without a jetpack.

    Once you manage to get pictures up, I could point out some of those places on an overview so you can either move around objects or place soft kill zones to prevent camping. Personally I prefer the former because people don't plan to use a certain path only to find there's a kill zone.

    I doubt that this is what you built the map for, but it looks promising for Snipers or SWAT. It just seems to have that feel.

    trust me the proper kill zones are in place lol, no roof is accessible to jetpackers some have small ledges but they have to stay on the edge and that makes them easier targets. Im checking right now to see if they have showed up if not i'll just take some and put em in the my file share (they seem to show up faster that way)

    One thing I like about this, based on the overview, is that the map offers both a direct route and a more stealthy route, almost like Standoff from H3. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but it looks run-down in some areas, like in the penultimate picture, since the cover is tilted.
    It looks like your goal was to design an asymmetrical map the plays symmetrically. In the upper middle area there looks to be an area where a player could travel off to the outskirts of the map to stealthily make a dash towards the objective, however there is no mirror of that in the bottom middle. Granted, it doesn't need to be an exact replica, but I believe there should be something that serves a similar function.
    In the picture of blue base (#2), there's a rock impeding the flow of movement across a ramp. You may want to make a minor alteration so that the scenery doesn't hinder gameplay.

    Just some thoughts, consider them in any combination you see fit.

    this looks really good, I like the bases and how it feels to be one large complex.

    the only negative thing I can say right now would be the huge gray walls blocking off the rest of the Island, but then again what can ya do with a limited pallet? lol

    maybe take out the walls and put up hazard signs: orange cones, railings, or make an actual sign and put a soft kill barrier behind it and a hard kill on the rest of the island?

    Good looking map though :)

    well luckily the stone in that ramp is at the right angel so it doesn't impede the flow but it seems i lost my finished map (good thing i make lots of copies while forging) so im re doing redbase to have just a garage and a 2 story circular base.

    I like this map, In fact I like all maps like this, ones that are small enough to have fun Gun Duels but also has great vehicle combat, definitely gonna DL when this is released.
