Need help on Forging

    I need some forging tips, because i cannot make good maps. I usually can only make good map designs. Can someone give me tips to make good forge maps, Thanks

    I suggest you just grab a pencil, eraser and a piece of paper and sketch! It will give you a general idea of what you like, then you can slowly turn it into a creation!

    Because I definitely want to write everything I know about forge into one post just for you. Stop being lazy and look around. We already have plenty of forge guides that you can read. Alternatively you could post pictures of what you're trying to make so we can actually help you.

    Help those who help themselves.

    If you need to make a small wall but have run out of building blocks, use bridges if aesthetics don't matter on the other side. Likewise, if you run out of those Ramp 2x2, Steeps are also good if you rotate them the right way around. This lets you make much larger urban style maps than previously possible, just bare in mind that ramps are the first objects to imposter over large distances, making them undesirable for exterior surfaces. Ramp 2x2, Steeps make for great ceilings, aesthetically as well as practically, and can make good walls for enclosed rooms.
