"Both factions suffered considerable losses since their discovery and settlement of this mysterious canyon side." Sanguine Typically when I think of an idea for a map, I'll plan it out thoroughly on graph paper or 3D rendering programs. However, a while ago I decided that I'd try to build a simple, slightly symmetrical CTF map without any prior planning or inspiration. Sanguine is the result. Overview The map is located between the entrance of the cave and part of Hemorrhage, with terrain reminiscent of Halo 3's High Ground. The map's centerfold is a large bridge that spans across it, connecting a bluff of the canyon to Alaska. Cool bridge, bro The bridge (and bluffs) can be accessed via man cannons or staircases on either side of the map. A fall from the bridge will either kill or drastically injure you. Uphill, both ways And, as is necessary for CTF, bases characterize the extreme opposite ends of the map. Red base Blue base Though the scenery surrounding the bases may be illusory enough to cause concern, I can assure you that the bases are fair and equal. Gameplay Screenshots: Call to arms Never 'goose alone Watch your head Beware the Sniper Rifle Flag run Please download and enjoy ~ I appreciate any and all feedback.
First of all, the map is intentionally non-symmetrical, so details like that would be acceptable. The blue base really isn't as far away as it appears, only slightly. Plus, this extra difference makes up for the loss of open ground on the blue side. Try downloading the map and setting up CTF. The variation really doesn't cause a problem. Your second question confuses me. Are you being cryptic or is that just a typo?
srry, i thought the name was a reference to oblivion when you first go into the assassibs guild they ask what is the colour of night and you answer sanguine my brother also sorry about the awful grammar, stupid ipod keyboard the map looks pretty cool, I think it would be fun to play because the sides are similar but have different terrain unfortunately I wont get my xbox back until june probably so I probably wont end up playing on it, but ill give it a dl since it looks like the imbalances were very well thought out
It seems like a good map, good use of vehicles and space. I will see if i can set up a proper match with some friends ^_^
