Ok, so is everyone familiar with the gametype "headquarters'" from Call Of Duty? If not, basically it's two teams fighting to capture the "headquarters." Then, once it's captured, whichever team captured it has one life to defend it, after that team is dead, or if they defend it for 1:00 the headquarters gets "defused" by the attacking team it or it automatically changes after 1:00. Then, once the headquarters is "defused" or changes automatically, all of the dead players on the defending team respawn.

Basically, I was wondering if there is any existing gametype in Halo which make it possible to recreate this gametype, or anything like it, as it is my favorite gametype in any video game ever, and I want to bring it to my favorite game, Halo. So, any ideas?

Invasion would probably work best. Territories or Assault would only have part of what you are talking about. I'm not sure how you could set it up, but it might be possible.

yeah..I'd go with territories w/ delayed respawn times.

Perhaps if you set the capture point to not spawn at start, then it will kind of act like it is moving?

I'm thinking KotH with 30 sec respawn times, and 30 second hills, maybe?

You don't respawn if you die while your team controls the hill. The only real problems are: Getting the hill to lock when you cap it, respawning, and defusing. I'm thinking Invasion Slayer, with the hills maybe, too? Idk, some kind of territory gametype maybe, too.
