I give you props for spending the time to make this. I liked the screenshot with the asteroid belt in the foreground. The text in the beginning is a bit hard to read. Also you may want to look at this thread: Imperial Star Destroyer
I never saw that thread lol. I realize that the map may not be the most original but this one is different in that it is an attempt at giving the feel of star wars battlefront. Also, i realized that the beginning text was too small so I fixed it
The aesthetics on the map look very good for the Destroyer...however I have no idea what the gametype for the map is and I cant see the rest of Destroyer...infact I have no idea if there is really any other part of the ship other than the hangers...
Sorry I never wrote for this before now. ;D It's been a really fun map the few times I've played it with you and the only problem I've had with it is getting out of the defending team's hangar bay occasionally, because if you don't boost out you can basically get stuck in an endless loop of going between the teleporters. Other than that, this map is really fun and balanced for game play. Even when I had a team that was pretty bad, we still managed to pull through in the end and tie it up 3 to 3. For those of you who haven't played it yet, the game play is mainly focused on air to air combat and the gametype is 3-plot territories. One territory is relatively close to the attacking hangar, the next is located just outside the Destroyer and the final is located in a room only accessible by a teleporter inside the hangar bay of the Destroyer. This forces CQC if you leave the third territory for last, but you can easily sneak up and capture it without even facing anyone, as most people are away at the other two points. And now that I think of it, the only thing I didn't like was the spawn times on the attacking Falcons, I don't even know if there were any actually. I found myself waiting for the Falcon to spawn so that I could get a gunner and pull guard duty as our team tried capping, but it didn't happen. :'( Great game play imo and it was very unique compared to other maps and game types, so thanks for the fun times and let me know if you ever want to play customs on it.
Wow I've seen a lot of good star destroyer maps but I think this one is the best yet. Your ship is just absolutely amazing. The asteroid field was a nice touch too. I'll give it a dl and see how it plays.
Ok seriously quit bumping maps dude. If I were a moderator I wouldn't even give you a warning cause this is just ridiculous. You're username is on 9/10 of the most recent posts, kinda fishy don'tcha think? Read rule number 1 man. You're lucky I'm not a Mod. The map actually looks great and I love the Rocket Hog on the top. The roof is kinda too grey though, it seems to dull.
