Concussion Derby Concussion Derby is a fast-paced, hectic minigame where the humans must attempt to survive for 4 minutes while riding around a (somewhat) circular track in vehicles. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong. It would be easy enough, if it weren't for these guys, the zombies. Armed with concussion rifles, (and golf clubs in case you get too close.) the zombies can easily send a human flying off the track. In the beginning of the match, the humans must quickly hop in a vehicle and begin driving. The two zombies start in this small room, but are quickly teleported out after 10 seconds have passed, to give the humans a fair chance. The humans must then drive around the track, avoiding all manner of projectiles, and hopefully survive the full four minutes. Sometimes it may be hard for the zombies to knock a human off of the track, that's why they have this to help them. The custom powerup spawns every 30 seconds, and gives one lucky zombie bottomless clip for a whole 15 seconds! (Trust me, when you pick this up, it's a lot of fun.) Now, you may be asking yourself, "what's to stop the humans from just hopping out of the vehicle, preventing themselves from being knocked off?" The answer to this is a soft kill barrier, which covers the floor of track, and does not affect you when you are in a vehicle. Also, the humans have a very low jump, which can help extend their time on the ground for a few seconds. If the humans walk up to the bunker in the middle, they can actually avoid the kill barrier, the same is true if they manage to get ontop of the rail. However, both of these things are allowed, because the zombies have golf clubs and ramped up melee damage, and if you are on the rails you can EASILY be knocked off. Concussion Derby is great with any amount of people that I've played it with. It's great for starting off a party, or keeping a larger one going! This is a really fun mongoose mini game and one that I think should be frequently played in the TGIF parties. It's a lot of fun shooting people off of the map.

Nice to see your first map post (that I've seen), . Seems like a pretty straight-forward minigame that looks like a lot of fun, but the map itself looks really boring. If you could release a V2 with an updated map, that would be great. I'll let you know heo it goeswith me and my testing buddies.
Honestly, I myself believe the map is just fine as it is. It's simple and effective, and works perfectly with the gametype. I experimented with adding in different walls, ramps and such, but the map really is best as it is. Anyways, hopefully you have, or had, fun with the map! :3
Just got done playing it not too long ago, and you're right, this is suprisingly effective. I don't know if this happened to anyone else but I kept getting the "return to battlefield" thing when I walked in the middle of the ring if I was a zombie. Didn't do anything, just got annoying.
That's actually really strange. I have never encountered that myself, nor have I had anyone else report that to me. Is it a specific spot in the middle bunker? Or basically just everywhere on the ground?
I don't think you need to add anything more to the map. Adding anything would probably make it more bumpy than you'd want, and you want it so that the zombies always have a clear shot at the humans. When I played this game, I didn't notice that problem ^, but when I get on Reach again I'll try and see if I encounter that kill boundary.
