    Hello, fellow Forgers!

This is my first submission. I hope you enjoy this map, called "The Source". It started as just a simple arena-style map, but quickly grew into something else. It works with FFA, Team Slayer, and King of the Hill (the "hill" being the top of the tower).

All comments and questions are welcome!

This is the loadout camera. The right-hand corner is alo blue team's spawn area.

    The base of the tower.

The base of the tower as view from Red team's spawn area.

    Inside the first level.

The second level with the man cannon that shoots you to the third.

The ceiling of that same room showing the hole through which players will be lifted.

The third level. Also the location of the hill.

Try and use your jet pack to gain an extra height advantage on the man cannon and you will become close friends with the kill ball.

Hi welcome to forgehub. First of all this map looks amazingly pretty. The only downside I can see from the pictures is the kill ball. Sometimes they can effect the frame-rate in game but I can see it is a crucial ascetic in the map so i am willing to forgive it. It looks great on forge but i am yet to get a game on it so i'll try giving better feedback later.

This maps looks pretty darn awesome :) The aesthetics are great, and I'm sure the gameplay is interesting too. I'll drop some feedback on here after I give it a few tries.

This map looks awesome. It definitely has a forerunner-esque feel to it. I'll have to download it once I get off of work. Nice job man.

Nice first submission. Me and my friends dig Jetpack maps and this one works good. For as many angled pieces that you used I give you a kudo for your accuracy and placement of pieces so it fit together so well. Nice blend of aesthetic structure with function. Give ya one for your patience factor as well. Look forward to you next map.

The aesthetics are sexy. Straight up.
Though it looks like it would be a really jet-pack heavy map, which some people like, and some don't. I'm one of the latter. I like how you put the kill ball to at least somewhat discourage jet-packing. Nice job.

Very nice aesthetics on the map...however the map looks open and it looks as if the lifts could be camped by players...also Im worried if you could die from using the lifts becasue the kill ball...besides that I would like to know the weapons that spawn on the map...

Ok. I first saw the pics and was like, "Whoa this could be my new favorite map", then I checked it out in forge. I looked around and didn't see many spawn points, so I checked how many you used. Only 17? Amazing map but I don't see how welll the gameplay would work with limited spawning. Beautiful aesthetics though so props on that. I would suggest making a v2 with more spawning and more compatable game modes.

Well, with slayer, every man for himself can be hectic, but there are no power weapons at the top floor (i.e. no camping up there with a rocket launcher. In FFA, I tried to encourage people using all levels of the map, so no one area becomes a major chokepoint.

For team slayer, I have each team spawn at opposite ends of the tower. There are zero spawn points in the tower, so both teams can fight for control of the tower, or ignore it and fight strictly on the ground level.

For King of the Hill, the top level is the hill (and only hill), but as I said before, there are no power weapons to alow the rulling party to camp. It is as yet untested in the king of the hill format, so it could be a flop, but I wanted it to be a very hectic fast-paced rush to the top.

I am already working ona version 2 to correct these issues, but thanks for bringing them up. The main reason why version 1 doesn't have many is because I absolutely didn't want people spawning in or on the tower, as that was territory to be fought over.
