Why hello there! And welcome to my first map: The Journey! This is a pretty long racetrack that doesnt come around like a lap, but uses teleporters instead to get to the beggining. Now since this IS my first map, I hope its not too bad. Oh yeah, a big thanks to TitanC005 for telling me how to get the map to work with the gametype! Now the map starts out at the small connection from the island to the cave, which has been filled with rocks, except for two pathways through the mess, players can choose one or the other to go through, as shown here: As you go through the paths, you finally come across a clearing, or also know as the Hemmorage part of forge world. Then you go through the MAIN part of the racetrack..... Heres a closer view of the roundabout, or the end of the track. And !VOILA! you come across the home stretch, rev your engine, and burst through the teleporter to come back to the beggining of the track again! This map is actually better played with less people, because of its skinniness. AND if there are any weird propblems with the map, tell me and ill try to fix them so noone else has the same problem.
I know this is your first map, but i can see alot of problems.. First off the track isnt smooth and very bulky with sharp corners (from the pics) Smoothness is key for a good race track Secondly some objects of the map need tweaking as some things look like they have been just thrown down anyhow, use the rrotations and use the x and y axis to get things level and precise. Aesthetics are also good for a racetrack because it gives the player some scenery and features. Also the competitiveness in the racemap would lack as i cant see many points for overtaking unless you fell off the track.. I hope this helps you build a better track in the future or update this one
me too i felt you did not use rotations as well bungie but that in so we would not be forging like in halo 3 one question does the track start from the island and finsh in blood glutch try making a smoother track next time and il take a look
