kill zone options

    i have a great idea for an infection game. the only way its gonna work is if i can set a soft kill zone to only affect one team and not the other. is this impossible?

    Yes, quite impossible. Can you provide some other details, perhaps I can see if there's another way to create it?

    basically, its a town. there's a church, in which the undead have been summoned to, but they have to get out immediately (holy ground). so, humans can camp there if they wish, but at the risk of a zombie spawning right behind them.

    How big is the church? Why not just put a soft kill on the spawn so the zombies and the humans have to exit quickly. Either that or make the soft kill have a low ceiling and put a second floor only the zombies can get up to to evade the soft kill.

    Or you could put the zombie spawn on a perch in the church and when they jump down the soft kill starts counting down.

    all great ideas. i was just hoping to get something that felt like "holy ground" which ultimately should not hurt humans. it kinda sucks that so many objects have useless options, like the special effects (lighting) which have shape and size options that dont work. it would be nice to have different fx in different zones.

    You could make a safe zone that benefits humans to give the humans an advantage on the "holy ground"
    Regardless, giving the humans a place to camp is generally a bad idea.

    noted, the thing that was going to bring the ballance back would be the fact that the humans, if the chose to camp, would be camping in the zombies spawn zone. i just dont see it happening how i wanted. moving on...
