"The previous occupants of this island left it with stones that should have never been turned."

Plymouth is an asymmetrical map, best for teams of 6-8. It is situated on the island of Forgeworld, and it takes up about 2/3 of it. It supports all gametypes, with the exception of Race (rally is supported), Invasion, and Invasion Slayer.

    Fly-through:
YouTube - Halo: Reach Forge Map - Plymouth

Red base is in the same general location as it is in Paradiso, while blue base is near where the Laser spawn is.

Most structures are very similar. They have a platform, usually with a weapon on them, with a roof, and a decorative piece on top.
The pictures (below) will show in more detail.

    Supported Gametypes
    • Slayer Variants
    • CTF Variants
    • Assault Variants
    • Infection Variants
    • Territories Variants
    • Stockpile Variants
    • King of the Hill Variants
    • Headhunter Variants
    • Oddball Variants
    • Rally

    Weapons (Spare Clips/Respawn Time)
    • 6x DMR (2/30)
    • 2x Rocket Launcher (1/150)
    • 2x Sniper Rifle (2/90)
    • 2x Mounted MachineGun
    • 4x Plasma Grenade (NA/15)
    • 1x Concussion Rifle (2/30)

    Vehicles (Respawn Time)
    • 4x Warthog (60)
    • 4x Mongoose (30)
    • 2x Ghost (45)

I plan on later closing off the Concussion Rifle spawn and the Red half (leaving only the blue half) and adapting it for Smaller teams and FFA's in a new map.

I really like the feel of this map. For some reason, it just feels like you're playing old school Halo. There's nothing really overpowering about the map, and playing CTF on it is just fun. Nice job.

This map looks really cool, and I especially like the buildings that have been built out of the landing pad pieces. (or towers, I'm not sure...). The way you have placed them gives the structures in the map a similar theme, and this helps to make the map look more asthetically pleasing to the eye, as all the structures aren't built out of pre-set buildings.

    Just one tip though,
You may want to reconsider blocking your map off with colliseum walls, as they make the map look very ugly and they are more of an eyesore than anything else...

I suggest that you use the spare rocks that you probably have left over and add in a soft kill barrier for the entire map, so that players can escape (if they really want to...), but they will not gain anything from it...

I may do that. I might not have enough natural pieces to block off that part, because I used a lot to block off the caves in the mountain. I could use less in those areas, but I used so many to make it look like it blended in with the static mountain.

Hey are you going to put up that video flythrough any time soon?

On a related note, I don't know if this map is big enough to comfortably fit 16 people. It fits, but I think it would cater more to around 12 people.

I'm actually working on getting it uploaded to youtube right now. I would have gotten it up earlier, but...I'm lazy.

I agree that it suits 6v6 better. It does fully support 8v8 and plays fairly well, but it's better with 12.

I like the consistency of the buildings, and while most of them are almost the same, it's easy to orient yourself. There's no part that's too open.
The terrain is pretty rough for the most part, which cuts down on the dominance of the warthogs, but it's a lot smoother on the red half. It works for games like one flag, because you can get the flag, but it will be tough to get back to blue base without flipping over.
    Nice job.

That was one of the reasons I put in two warthogs, rather than one, because it seemed like the warthogs were flipping and getting destroyed pretty soon.
But if your daring enough, you can take the alternate path (above the water) with the warthog. There's a chance that you'll fall off (if you're a terrible driver), but it's quicker with more cover. Though I will be way easier to hit you, and if the other team gets the concussion rifle, then you're going over board.
