The Temple of Doom - a 2 Player Co op Challenge The Temple of Doom - a 2 Player Co op Challenge - previously titled The Great Escape Apart from using my Temple of Doom gametype there aren't any rules you need to follow so anything goes in getting to the end. Double jumping, etc is definitely allowed. You will also need to learn the not so ancient art of "jetpack jumping" in one section. It's a bit like double jumping but with a jetpack, i think you get the picture. The game does not support playing as an Elite as you will not be able to crawl out of the initial spawn section where I have constructed an Elite trap to prevent people cheating. It was necessary to make this change as playing as an Elite makes this map much less challenging. The objective of the game is basic - 2 players must escape the fortress and carry the flag to the end of the map negotiating various obstacles. Once you capture the flag you have completed the puzzle and it will prompt the game to end. This game is designed to support only 2 players who have to work together every step of the way to succeed. One final note on this map is that the objectives required to complete the game are all in plain site, so don't go looking for hidden portals, etc. There is no glitching required in this map, for example a lot of maps require you to suicide to progress or to make use of fixed weapons, whereas I have tried to make my map intuitive and more about team work than exploiting some random glitch. I'll give one clue for passing the first room because it's probably the hardest stage to figure out. You need to use armor lock and have your team mate use you as a ramp to get the hog over the barrier. I'll let you guys figure out the rest. great puzzle clever ending! I played this with one friend all the way threw then showed it to two other friends and let them figure it out!
This is truly an excellent puzzle. Each challenge us unique and clever, and a blast to solve with a (easy-going) friend. It is hard enough to be challenging, but easy enough that you can solve it at a regular pace. The passing at the end was also very entertaining, and my friend and i had quite a victory cry when we finished. Thanks for the good time, and i look forward to playing your other puzzle maps. (i downloaded all of them)
Ah memories, this was my first ever forge creation. It took forever to complete because i had no idea how to forge at the time. Glad u had a good time playing it Chicken!
