Well, I was remarkably bored, and had about 45 minutes left after I finished my Health 1 test. So, on the back of one of the pages I sketched this map schematic. Handwriting is sorta terrible, and I'll try and provide a basic key-
    HH- Headhunter
    MT- Multi Team
    Slyr- Slayer
    Rspwn- Respawn
    Flg/Fg- Flag
    hhz- Headhunter capture zone
    1f- One Floor
    2f- Two Floor

The one question I have is about where I should make this on forgeworld. I mean, flat land is idea, so I was thinking on top of the coliseum. If I can make it work, I wouldn't mind doing it in montana or alaska, the flatter areas, above the cave, etc. As a last resort, I would build it inside the coliseum, but with the flat area above it, I could have actual grass lawns, which would be nice.

ok im sry, did you say preview or scribbled piece of paper from health class this morning?

if you could make it a little more clear i would be able to see whats going on

ok im trying to see what youre going for and it does look pretty messy. if youre putting actual 'cars' then you are gonna have to alter the gametypes so people cant drive them around. if they could drive it would get too chaotic. there are two flat areas situated in the canyon where the two bases are.

At least he's done something that very few people take the time to do when making a map: Plan.

That's how you know he's serious about the design and didn't just go into forge one day and threw in a few blocks and called it genius.

Thanks, I obviously plan to do much more with it, it's just all that I had time to do, since what I had at my disposal was a single side of paper and a pencil.

Secondly, I do not plan on putting mongooses or revanants, the cars are going to be made out of forge items, same with the bus. I don't plan on including any vehicles.

I'm working on an updated plan right now, which I'll update my original post with when it's done.

Isn't this basically just a variant of Nuketown from Black Ops?

I know what you mean, but I'm hoping it to be far different. The main thing is that there will be many more houses. The overall shape will be different, since it won't even be slightly symmetric.

Also, Berb, the canyon area is anything but flat. Maybe not hilly or too bad, but definitely not flat.

I said that there is actually two flat areas at opposite sides of the canyon. In the canyon would look better than off the edge of a cliff. And the two areas are definitely flat cuz bungie thought that flat land would be easiest for the bases

the flat land by the cliff, however, is much much larger. The consistently flat areas at either side of the canyon are small enough to be negligible for my purposes

    Edited by merge:

I just started this today, I decided in the end to actually make it in the air, with Coliseum walls as the ground. It's unfortunate, but not the end of the world. My first house and garage actually came out great, so I'm rather excited for where this goes.
