Now, I'm just asking you guys, what is one map you have not yet seen remade that you would really like to see, or a map that isn't well remade. I know almost every map has, but what about the others you guys know of? I'll attempt to take on the task to remake it..
One map I havn't seen remade well, that I absolutely love is Duck Hunt. It doesn't seem extremely hard to make, but I think some people are just lazy. It may seem kind of "newbie" but that was one of the most fun games I have ever played.
Speaking of that, I found a good one of those in the bungie forums.. I'll try to find it again. A few classics of H3 MM like Ghost Town, Snowbound.. Opinions even on those?
just for the halibut, remake a reach map in reach forge (but no one originally do e in forge) remake countdown, powerhouse, boardwalk, spire, boneyard or remake the cage, but rotate it 180 degrees, so the cliff side is at high bridge you could also remake cliffhanger's pieces into a giant turd since the map is a piece of crap or maybe you're not really bored and actually want to do something useful: remake sandbox, that would be sorta cool, to see how blocks from 3 translate to reach ghost town would also be epic
not really getting the point of this thread that the other thread about map remakes doesn't already address.... anyway, I'd love to see Water Works and Burial Mounds remade...by Bungie. I was always a fan of BTB maps and those 2 maps were so unique and had excellent game flow and they'd cater to the new armor abilities brilliantly. I do not want to see those two made by forgers though because those two maps are all terrain based and its impossible to imitate that right with forge pieces.
I have considered remaking a map already made, BUT what would be the point if you could just play the original? I have been seriously debating this.. but, Forge 2.0 doesn't have rounded objects like the tunnels around the map, which could cause issues. I would love to see some of those classic maps that wouldn't be able to be remade in forge for bungie to remake, but i also think they wouldn't be the same, due to guns, or other issues that halo has undergone over time.
Ghost Town. Creatively-arranged blocks can mimic cylindrical shapes, and Forge World's palette is surprisingly good for rubble. (A small corner of a Brace, for example, looks quite rubble-esque.)
no point, just randomness it would be really random to just remake a map upside down or something and then play with unlimited jet pack or 0 gravity
There would be no point to that. With out any ground to stand on the jet packerseould just fall and die. And, why spend hours on a map that's virtually useless?
reflection or countdown would work fine, as would a surprisin ampunt of maps, the bottom of the map would be a new play area I might actually flip countdown just for fun if I ever finish all my other projects
