Hello everyone, I finally managed to get a decent webcam to record my voice & gameplay. Don't blame I was put on a $500 Laptop Budget. So After I got it 2 days ago. I thought I'd put it to the test. Bulletstorm Demo has just arrived and Its one of my most anticpated games of 2011. Incase you didn't know I topped 573 in the world. Out of about 2.8 Million People who are playing it, thats pretty damn good. This is my first commentary that I've been practising for 2 Years now and finally is on youtube. The quality is somewhat bad, again don't blame I was on a budget.

Now, How to earn 9,000 - 10,000 Skillpoints in the Bulletstorm Demo (With commentary)

Cool starry brah. I probably rank higher than you do. Just sayin'

But really, I was going to do a HD commentary over Bulletstorm but I can't record and play at the same time right now due to my tv not being HD. It was a pretty good commentary though.

What did you use to record? Your webcam?

Never use a webcam. Webcams/Cameras and TV signals do not work very well together and this is why the quality is crap. If you can, grab an Easy Cap or Dazzle. EasyCaps are like 10 dollars and Dazzles are about 100. Check Futureshop or Bestbuy. ;)

Dazzle DVC 100's usually sell for I believe $75 at the least at most retailers like Futureshop or Best Buy depending on which edition you get(I got my old one before the Hauppauge for like $50 from a sale at Best Buy a couple years ago). It's a good cap card to start off with and honestly, this one works just fine and I recommend you pick it up. It's a tad tedious to set up, you'll probably have to go online to get the correct drivers and you have to buy your own splitter cables which is a pain(you need at least 2 and they sell for ~$10 ea) but once you get it running it's not too bad.

It's a good way to get started up and seeing if you're honestly really serious about video editing and all that jazz before you invest in something like a Hauppauge or a Black Magic. The only downside is that(unless you're using Pinnacle Studios which is a terrible terrible program) you need to use a video editing program that can read DVD format. The only thing I know that can read said format is Sony Vegas Platinum Pro 9 or 10 unless you change the format beforehand using some kind of converter program like SUPER which will probably degrade the video quality, or more likely not work at all if you're not sure what you're doing.

As for the video, I honestly couldn't really tell what was happening on screen. Mind you I haven't actually played the demo nor do I really care for it; I got on my xbox for the first time in a while just to play the Crysis 2 MM demo and that was a fat dissapointment :/
