Reprieve Reprieve is one of several projects i worked on during a recent month or so i spent with an expired live account. It was born out of my desire to create a symmetrical map, which i had been trying unsuccessfully to do for quite some time. (i have a bad habit of turning all my symmetrical attempts into aysms or deleting them completely due to what i consider bland designs). looks like a nice map, I'll DL and take a look. but if you want more downloads, you should post an overview, I find it hard to get an idea of the map design
I personally think thiis map is cleanly forged and feels like a pretty open map. I haven't play tested it yet, but there kill boundaries outside so you can't wander, right? I also like how somebody for once used something different for walls other than, well... blocks and walls! I think that was a good call on your part. Good job
you cant tell from the pictures, but its actually floating a hundred feet or so above the ocean. and while theres no reason to have a jetpack on this map, if someone did they still wouldnt be able to get out and stay out due to the death barriers.
Hey, I found it! I played in this earlier and I like the layout, it was a little large, but it was clean and didn't have any frame rate issues. I gotta say though, from this and the other map of yours we had played before, spawns need work. On a couple occasions I or another player would spawn on someone shots down. Well, forged, I think the layout is a little too elongated though, which keeps conflict isolated. This should definitely not be overlooked though, great work!
