Well this is my first submission, so here goes... This is my map 'Goose Arena, compatible with my gametype "King of the Goose". I got the idea a few days ago after I rewatched an old Bungie Vidoc that showed a warthog as a mobile hill. Anyway, on to the map. The map is set in the Colosseum. It has four starting bases, one in each corner, each equipped with a sniper nest. The Mongoose spawns in the center of the map. And will immediately be charged by all four teams. After 2 minutes go by, a teleporter spawns in each base giving access to the aforementioned sniper nests. The snipers only spawn with 8 rounds, and never respawn, so use them wisely! At the 3 minute mark, a rocket launcher and a plasma launcher spawn on the pedestal that the Mongoose originally sat on. These are sure to spice up the battle. But just like the sniper, they never respawn. Make your shots count! Talons013 brought some very good points to light. I have altered the spawns for teleporters and heavy weapons. And as for some things I did not cover. There are 3 rounds lasting ten minutes. The goal to win is 50, as I believe even that would be challenging to achieve. There are 5 loadouts in this gametype. Noble 1 Plasma pistol, sprint Noble 2 Plasma pistol, evade Noble 3 Concussion rifle, armor lock Noble 4 Grenade launcher, spring Noble 5 Gravity Hammer, no AA And yes, 4 teams of 2 would be optimum for this map And thank you for the criticism. I can't get better at maps and gametypes if no one tells me what I'm doing wrong!
This is strangly similar to a game I made but never posted... I should post it... onto the map, uh, several questions: -Is it a good idea for the teleporters to spawn so soon? -How long are the round(s)? -What weapons do the players get by default? -Again, rocket spawn to soon? -Im guessing 4 teams of 2 for the game. And any other details about the game would be appreciated. If yout could just awnser these questions by editing your post. Thank you =D
