HOLY ****. im done being helpful. and you wonder why people dont give you their time and respect? learn some life lessons, lock this goddamn thread. later
All this attention were giving to this ungrateful... Forty posts in about 40 minutes trying to get this guy to understand. Night all
when all i was trying to do was to get you guys to understand.....its as if the objective is the same on both ends....
I think you're missing the point a tad. The problem was that your post could be taken that you were attacking his map, and him by proxy. That stuff is hard to catch when you're writing a post, but in the future it's good to keep that in mind. I see what you did there >_> And yeah, that's the key point that I made. "Overall, if the map is good, it shouldn't really matter." Again, I'll point out the the idea of showing off your map is less so that I can see it, but more so that you can spread the word about it. You'll want as many people as you can to get word-of-mouth going. I'll take your word that your map is good, but don't fall for the self-confidence trap.
You declaring yours is the best doesn't mean it is. Its a remake. If I wanted to play foundry I would go to Halo 3. The best remake of foundry was when someone completely reversed all the objects in Foundry and you basically felt disoriented because it was flipped. A remake is not original, and thus its lacking a huge factor in a great map. It is also one of the less popular default maps.
I am astounded that everytime I need to post, I can find a picture that pretty much sums up what I'm going to say. Like OP said, we're all trying to reach the same objective. Some people might have different ideas on how to get there, but we all need to remember that we won't get there if all we do is flame each other. So, cool it.
I looked at this thread shortly after it was started. "Okay a discussion about something obvious that is a key aspect of social interaction." I go take a shower, get ready for bed, come back to this. It's clear the OP is angry because his maps aren't popular, which is undoubtedly caused, in part, by the lack of effort to put pictures up for his maps. How did I come to this conclusion? LOCKED.
