I went to an Emarosa, I See Stars, Broadway, In Fear and Faith, and Our Last Night show and I was talking to a band member and merch guy from Broadway after they opened and they mentioned a lot of this.
Who knew the life of carving tiki idols out of driftwood on the beach would be so low-paying? Who knew painting pictures would pay so low? Who knew being an author could make you so poor?
