Map is pretty much done but i still need a map name and to figure out how many peopl the map is good for.I wanted to build in an area where noone ever builds anymore/normally builds. From what i played tonight it had some elements of blackout from halo 3. Looks good for CQC and also Long range Please note the screens right now really dont do any justice for the map. Please tell me what you think
I like how you utilized the natural terrain of Forgeworld. However, I think you're trying to do too much by including the other rock (seen in the second picture) into the map. From what I can tell, it's symmetrical, except for that part. And, since symettrical maps tend to be good for objective gameplay, that could seriously hurt the map. Aside from that, you need more aesthetics, you can't rely on the incorporation of the natural terrain to be suffice. And since you used buildings already given to you by the palette, nothing else really stands out in the map.
awesome, that grassy part looks like a good sniping point but if it is too wide you can just back up and survive when someone is shooting you
i could easily put some assethics on it but i mean ALL MAPS dont have to have assethics. they dont need them. that being said i have made maps that have great ones but as you know,most forging in reach relys on assethics far too much and not sheer gameplay or a mixture of both. It this map i have great mixture of gameplay on this map(played it last night) i might add some assethics to it to make it look better but idk as they really are not needed. Its more of a want for them. i was gonna work on fixing the area around the rock to be more symmetrical in a little bit [br][/br]Edited by merge: it really isnt that wide so i just left it open so someone can hit you without a problem but idk if i should add like one small rock or sumthing for cover [br][/br]Edited by merge: also there are two balconys that are maybe a little better for sniping depending on people positions(one on each side)
