The map is designed to be primarily aesthetic, but it serves a multitude of recreational and practice purposes as well. It was originally designed to look cool, but in the end, I couldn't stomach putting all the work into somthing that couldn't actually be used. Hence, the usefullness.

The tall tower is Cyrus Tower which is gained access to by Falcon, teleporter, or Tron Tunnel which connects to the hanger on the initial spawn. The smaller tower on the island is Mushroom Tower -named so because it reminded me of a mushroom when I finished it and looked at it. The island and its contingent land bridges are simply referred to as the Proving Grounds.

The Tunnel was heavily inspired by a pretty good Tron: Legacy map I came across prior to working on this this map. I've been itching for a chance to imitate the tunnels the player used in it. I got my chance and I'm quite happy about it.
The initial spawn is the only one that occurs in the hanger -so repeated trips aren't necessary. The theatrics of presenting Cyrus Tower with it though is something, so I figured I'd make use of the grand introduction.

I went for a lived-in feel. It's not immediately apperent in this shot, but it does tell a story -albeit a fictional one.
The original design for the tower interior was to be a sniper tower with hundreds of ledges, miscellaneous covers, and inclines, but it proved too straining on patience and in-game resources. The idea itself is sketchy at best.
Whilst trying to come up with ideas for indoor furninshing I came across a Clan Base map on the forum which heavily influenced my decisions with what to do with the interior and it worked out quite nicely.

This is the biggest influence of the Clan Base map seen in Cyrus Tower. The table idea always seemed really cool and out of the box to me. So... I reused it here.
Note the different colors and how they're placed. I went with the classic schtick of two clan leaders -one underground and generally lax -the other, pro and formal. This is evidenced by the brown chairs being off to the side and chill. The blue ones are severely height defined, rigid, and formal. Also note the drinking cups -well they're actually flag stands, but whatever.

Evidence of the worn-in feel at work. It's actually a sniping range though. Fusion coils are set to get launched every five seconds. The closest one can't be missed. The second is launched from the base of the aptly named Mushroom Tower in the distance. The fusion coils can be extremely hard to hit and good for practice or screwin' around with friends.
Mushroom Tower has a teleporter and a Falcon to return the Cyrus Tower if desired.

The Proving Grounds are accessed by a teleporter in Cyrus Tower -or you can run off the ledge with a Mongoose and jump out just before you crash.
The island has not been altered in any way other than the addition of Mushroom Tower. Three teleporter recievers are scattered across the island with a Warthog or two nearby. Tagging passengers with bullets or beams are what I had in mind when I created it. It's good for vehicle practice, I think.

The Arena is on the roof. It's accessed via teleporter in the main floor of Cyrus Tower. It's loaded with swords and hammers. It could easily be a Grifball arena with some editing, but as it stands, it's a brawler arena. The only means of exit are Falcon evac, suicide jump, or jetpack (which are provided on some of the struts.)

I'm not quite sure, what's going on in this map as of yet, I might suggest adding an overview of your map, possibly with labels. I kind of like the idea of this and it seems to be pretty well build.

    Good Job.

    Thank you.

By "overview" I assume you mean a panoramic screenshot with labels? If so, I'll get on that.

Could you post some other pictures please? So far this map looks pretty good, the lived-in feel is excellent it feels like it had a very abrupt abandonment.
