I'm not trying to get actually an accurate result, just seeing who thinks which game is the Game of the Year.
Well, now its 2008, and I guess I'll tell you that...Bioshock was the game of the year.. Took me by surprise.. but thats what X-play voted game of the year, and Forgehub voted 2nd game of the year (Following Halo 3, lol)
I voted for Super Mario Galaxy just because of the family. But i'd be torn between Halo 3, COD4 and Galaxy. The first two aren't quite family friendly though.
Dang..I thought everyone would vote for Halo 3... I guess not.. Everyone loves Mario Galaxy just like me!!!!
He changed it to Mario, then back to Halo. But it doesn't matter, because all the cool people didn't vote for Halo 3 anyways.
The Orange Box should be up there. I voted BioShock, that game is great. I've never played Assasin's Creed (though I do so want to) but I think that'd be good too.
Apparently Assassin's Creed was repetitive and not as much fun as it was anticipated to be. But don't take my word for it.
That was actually a retarded lie put forth by game reviewers, that resulted in concrete proof that the entire game review industry is a sham populated by the pathetic and ignorant. Everyone knew that already, but between AC and Gerstman there is plenty of ample evidence now. I'm not defending the game, I've never played it. Just pointing out that those reviews claiming it was "repetitive" are from people who didn't even play the game.
