Okay, there are so many things wrong with this statement. 1. These events didn't actually take place. There is no UNMC upgrading to the BR. In reality, reach is the last game in this FICTIONAL scifi series. The game bungie decided to take out the BR for the DMR. This stands to reason that its a better weapon, since they designed them both, and played with one for the past 5-6 years or so. 2. Halo CE is not moments after Reach, there is the journey to halo 3. The BR isn't in CE at all to begin with, it didn't come in until halo 2. So you obviously never played it. I won't keep up this war, I know I'm way off topic.
Actually ergo, BR>DMR realistically but the DMR is used in Reach rather than BR for gameplay purposes; not because it's a better weapon.
There's a BR in Halo 2 and 3 because you can dual wield. There's a DMR in Reach because there's no dual wielding, and having a three-shot rifle would be OP.
Back on topic, stupid newbs who think the BR is better than the DMR for gameplay, the real winner would be.... Chuck Norris.
Ah shiiiit. Damn I can't say I didn't see that coming lolz. But to answer the original question of this thread, I think that Arby and the Chief would totally rape Noble 6 Team.
I think we all knew the realistic answer to this. Ignoring game mechanics and stupid arguments such as 'Master Chief can jump higher and has the BR!' and going strictly off of training/numbers/etc., it's not too negotiable that Master Chief and Arby wouldn't stand much of a chance next to Noble Team, regardless of how masculine his voice is compared to the others. However, you all need to take into consideration that Spartan III's were all referred to as the 'expendables' and trained strictly for suicide missions; that probably didn't affect their training regardless.
First of all: superior* implies* IMMEDIATELY* You also missed a couple of commas and Proper noun spelling... Second of all: The Battle Rifle was never shown. There was no hint of it's existence until Halo 2. Also, the DMR kicks ass, just because the DMR was replaced by the BR in RP related times, in the actual world, the BR was replaced by the DMR, because there was something that Bungie liked about the DMR and not the BR. Third of all: You're way off topic. I started this thread to see which would win in a fight: Noble Team or Master Chief and the Arbiter, not to see which is better: the DMR and the BR. (DMR wins every time, unless BR was a triple shot grenade launcher.)
I reckon Cat would distract Master Chief with an alluring fan dance. Meanwhile George wafts a pungent fish soup contained in his chest flask under Arby's nose. As Arby and MC drool over these tempations to their senses, the rest of noble team sneak up behind them for a cool looking assassination.
Well MC and Arby move faster so that they can avoid the many spammed pocket-nukes. Then Noble team stunned by the fact that 12 nukes didn't kill arby n chief are four shotted with real mens precision weaponry.
Really, Noble Team would win. Jun would just snipe their asses. Or Jorge would use his bigass gun. And Kat would hack their armour. And Emile will shotgun *****. And Carter would be all noble (cwutididthar) and Noble 6 will be all badass and kill them. Plus, Noble Team has armour lock. What else do you need?
Technically Master Chief has Armour Lockup as well, it's sketchy. Bungie's explanation during an interview about the lack of AA's in other Halo games was simply because all the advanced technology for them was lost when Reach was destroyed. Therefore we can assume that the Armour Lock you're referring to MC does not have. However in the beginning of the H3 campaign when Master Chief has made impact with the earth, it's noted that either a marine/Johnson explains that he can't move because his armour has gone into armour lockup. But yes, I'm aware that's besides the point
Lol quoted just because it made me laugh, but its true the cheif and arby would win easily. The cheif on his own would probabley win. However sergent Johnson would kill all of them with his invincability he gained after Halo CE!!!
Well, if you take the fact that Noble 6 was surpassed in skill only by the MC and the fact that one or two of the other Noble team members will easily overcome the MC I can assume that: N6+2N>MC that leaves 3N, which is undoubtedly greater than one Arbiter, so: 3N>A Therfore, N6+5N>MC+A
isnt the arbiter the commander of the fleet that assaulted reach? and if he is doesnt that mean technically he's already killed nobel team!
their is no contest... Chief wins you:but what about- Chief wins -what if CHIEF WINS. -even if well then there's the arbitor with his dual swords and camo that you can never use yourself, any more questions? -... good, now your learning -... [br][/br]Edited by merge: better yet... YouTube - Halo bleed it out this is Chief alone...
I am a fan of both of the games and the characters, but if you put it straight out there there are advantages and disadvantages to both, examples, Noble Team have armor abilities, MC and the arbiter have stronger class of weaponry IMO. But yeah thats just my opinion.
I can't believe I'm posting in this dumb thread, but: clearly Noble Team would win. Master Chief is not superior to N6 when you look at his in-game abilities, and Noble Team has the numbers advantage. Plus they have the ultimate invincible distraction in Jorge, shield-popper extraordinaire.
