Man seriousLy. Did you guys read it in detail? Framerate lag is not that much of a problem. This is because we are STILL LIMITED BY BUDGET AND ONLY ITEM LIMITS ARE REMOVED.
You are wrong. Think of it this way. You know those race maps that go for miles across forge world? Well most of the time the creator runs out of a certain object and starts using another. I would assume that the larger and more polygons and object has, the more toll it'll take on the framerate. Rather than having to resort to platforms, walls, and ramps, the creator could use the 4x4 flat block for the whole track. This would most likely allow him to make a bigger track before it started to lag. Allowing us to not have an object limit will give us more options. It'll allow us to not have to resort to objects that require more "oomph" to run, thus allowing us to build more without causing lag. The flip side is that, yes, idiots will go and max out maps everywhere and they'll play like crap but so what? People make maps that lag like crap already so what's the problem. More possibilities = good idea. Just because you can potentially make a worse map with these new possibilities doesn't mean you have to.
I know you guys are going to completely disagree with me, but I think Reach would have been way better without Forgeworld. Most of the Forgeworld maps made by Bungie suck, and the Forgetacular winners don't look much better. I usually quit on maps like Atom and The Cage because I hate them so much. There are so many maps on here that look really fun that got cut because of object density, which wouldn't matter if Bungie knew what the hell they were doing. I hate to say it but Forgeworld was the most disappointing aspect of Reach.
Its not forge world. Its people who make Idiotic and horrible maps in forge (people who made community playlist maps and cliffhanger) Not all forge world MM maps are bad. Atom is pretty good. Same with hemmorhage and Paridiso. The assymetrical ones all suck though except for the Cage.
