Anyone here pick it up? I know we're not a huge PS3 forum but still :p Haven't gotten to touch it yet (girlfriend has been playing), but it's pretty awesome, quite an upgrade form the first game. The creator options are hugely expanded (blows Forge out of the water). Just wondering if I have any fellow LBP2 creators here to share with?

I got the chance to try it out. While it is a blast and your creativity can run rampant, the only reason I would even turn on a PS3 would be to play Mod Nation. LBP2 was fun, maybe it's just not for me.

Man I want to get it, because I seriously don't have any games for my PS3 (except for Fallout: New Vegas and borrowed games). Someone tell me if it's definitely worth it.

I also plan to get Dragon Age 2 and Skyrim for it, I'm using my PS3 as a platform for RPGs and everything but FPS's.

Mod Nation Racers blows so much sack. It's a terrible excuse for a game, absolutely terrible. I played it with a friend, who downloaded the demo for his PS3 and he was very excited about it. We spent time customizing parts for our cars and the amount you could do was pretty cool. As cool as making each vehicle and racer unique, and building your own tracks, the mechanics to the game are terrible. I haven't played a racing game that bad in years. So, it ended up being, what's the point in all the customization if the game isn't any fun at all to play, a lot like Far Cry...

Anyways, as for LBP2, I haven't played it, but I probably will sometime with my friend who's got a PS3. I played the first one, but I'm not a fan platformers, but that's because the platforming game is old school design, something which I didn't play as a kid, I started off with FPS's and over the shoulder adventure games. I do think it's really cool that you can develop your own games and art style within LBP2. I wonder just how much you can do.

That's sweet! I'll have to look more into that. I was kinda hoping there would be some more people around here interested in LBP2 though..doesn't seem to be the case haha.
